I'd like to lift up Derek Chauvin in prayer.

I'm deeply upset about all the injustices in the world and based on the evidence I've seen this guilty status seems so unjust. I pray for his life and for his soul at the face of this injustice. The minority of loud bullies in this society have tried to make everything to fit their false version of religious morality, instead of God's morality. They assume everything is due to someone's race or social status, rather than individual responsibility. What they accuse others of doing they do themselves.

I've seen the toxicology report of the cause of death, I watched the video of the man who swallowed drugs right before being arrested, and saw the video in the store with him pacing, babbling, and acting incoherently, and I saw the video where he said he wanted to be on the ground, and I know the police training to restrain a large uncooperative person is to pin them down. News propaganda edited these key parts out of videos to help build their narrative, just like they did against Rittenhouse. So, for the evil government officials to put their own religious ideology over the law and to accuse someone of intentionally killing another who actually died of a drug overdose seems very wrong.

Meanwhile, they downplay the guy who intentionally used his car to run over a parade of people- killing and injuring many, but they downplay it because of his skin color. This is also wrong. They downplayed Biden murdering people with drones, downplayed all other corruption and scandals involving themselves.

All the evil politicians in Washington DC getting rich from vaccine profits while it injures and kills people- they make laws to oppress and steal from citizens while they enjoy having parties and spending it is wrong.

I pray if it's God's will to intervene that He can step in to make these injustices right.

Agreed, Adam. This incident was politicized by the leftist from the beginning. We should take that as a given. That is wy you and I work to get more information from sources other than the mainstream (leftist) media to try to get a better understanding of things such as incident with G. Floyd and the police.

I have asthma and have had times when my airways were narrowed to such a degree that I could not get air in or out. i could not say anything. I have also hade narrowed airways were I could barely pass are and could just whisper any words. I have also had times when my airways were narrowed but I could talk hoarsely in halted speech. In all of these incidents I needed either emergency care or breathing treatments with my rescue inhaler and nebulizer. G. Floyd was able speak repeatedly that he could not breath for 10-20 minutes without. In the end, instead of trying to relax and concentrate on breathing slowly without speaking, he continued to call out. Understandably, he was panicking because his body was shutting down. eventually, most likely his he stopped and so he could no longer complete the breathing process, or his lungs stopped working and could not complete the breathing process. But I can't know for sure and it is good that there was an independent autopsy that said that e died of an overdose, not asphyxiation as you said. It was a sad event. But I believe an injustice was done to Derek Chauvin and not to G. Floyd. Mr. Floyd caused his own demise.

And the left went rampant with rioting, looting, and other behaviors that ad nothing to do with injustice. The protesting was fine, to me, but it never stayed peaceful, and the protesters knew that would be the case.

I do hope that you are not under the impression that because people are not challenging you or Adam on this subject , that our silence of indicates our agreement with your views . I sincerely hope that it doesn't , it definately doesn't in my case . I thought that this was a Bible forum not a political one . I am not going to report your or Adams comments on this subject as I don't want them to be removed . I find them very revealing , as I'm sure everyone who reads them does .

GiGi That seems like a bias opinion of yours.

Why would you dig up a week old thread and elaborate on such a Racially publicized case that we already gave unnecessary time to?
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
Spencer, you are correct in that this is my opinion. I think most opinions have bias. As to the post, I was responding to Adam's post of today, not last week, but I don't know why it showed up in this way. I did not dig it up. I rarely begin a post to start a discussion. I usually respond to something someone has posted in recent days. But this seemed to show up in a weird way.
  • Rick - In Reply - 2 years ago
    S. Spencer I appreciate your viewpoint this site is to discuss scripture, not unprofitable world events that

have no profit. Either focus on the things of Gods Word or the World no man can focus on both, at least that's

what the master says. It's going to wax worse and worse it is written, so its up to the individual what they

mentally entertain or focus on. As for me I'll turn my eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face then

the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace. Peace on Earth Goodwill toward men!
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
So Rick, is it not ok to post about the vaccine or mandates, other world events that Mishael has posted about, other concerns for our nation, that others have posted about? Let's not be selective. Either the administration on here can let us know to stop all discussions other than Scripture, or none. But to take a selective approach does not sit well with me.

AS for me, I have not suggested that anyone or any topic not be posted on here.

Lord Jesus, I pray today for Derek Chauvin. If e has been unjustly convicted, please vacate the conviction and set him free. If he had intentions to harm George Floyd, then show him his error and stir him to seek you for forgiveness and and grace for salvation. We pray this in Jesus' name, Amen

    Bro Adam,

This sums pretty much sums up the world we are living in today:

    1 John 5:19

"And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness."

    God Bless.

Dear all brothers and sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ. A word come too me from 1 John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.

20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

And remember that ppl who have died is not someone we should pray for anymore. He have meet his judge.

But in the other hand can we can still pray for his murderer.

    Be blessed in Jesus Name.

Hi Adam There's is a major principle to consider in this the Age of Grace, this is man's day where man is doing the

judging in the world. That's why Paul stated in 1 Corinthians 4:3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be

judged of you or mans judgement yea I judge not my own self. The word says be angry and sin not or don't break fellowship because the anger of man worketh not the righteousness of God. In this day and age by Gods grace

like no other time in history God is closing His eyes so to speak to a lot of stuff. But when the day of The Lord Comes

Then Somethings going to Hit the Spiritual Fan so to Speak. Our commission is to speak the truth in Love and each

man or women makes up there mind accept or reject until the gathering together. After that look out!

Another very important thing is dont watch the news anymore or any "truther" stuff or "exposed" videos.

These material is created to make people mad and angry !

There is a thing going on they call it "great awakening" the people are beeing awakend against the evil system,

but its a trap I believe. Who will the world redeem out of such a mess..? maybe the antichrist the false saviour.
  • BelieveInJesus - In Reply - 3 years ago
I had the same anger like you and was focused on all that evil thats going on..

but dont let the devil deceive you he draws you away from the Lord Jesus and wants

to steal your peace. Satan is now the king of this world but dont forget that GOD is in full controll.

He will manage it, this things must happen dont forget.

You dont need to know all that evil stuff, the Lord takes care of it for you !

I pray something like this: Lord Jesus please take care of all my troubles and my angers and please help

against this evil. When you believe your anger will be gone !
  • Adam - In Reply - 3 years ago
Thank you, I agree that its easy to get to sucked into the soap opera media. I noticed you used the word anger a few times assuming my emotional state, but I didn't say I was angry. I was upset which to me is a state of concern. I think its appropriate to dislike injustice and be disgusted over evil. Jesus displayed some of that. We are to love everyone, pray for them, and forgive them for their wrongs. This seems like the biggest challenge to me, rather than merely trying to limit an emotional reaction. I know God will make all things just and fair in the end, but in the meantime it's hard seeing people temporarily 'get away' with evil in this life.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 3 years ago
Adam, like you, I have kept up with the Chauvin/Floyd case. I concur that George died of a drug overdose. I think Chauvin did not cause the death of Floyd, but the jury found him guilty. If Floyd was white, Chauvin would not have been charged because he was following police procedures. I watched the video many times. I got out a foam roll and put my knee on it like Derek was doing, same posture, etc. In doing so I noticed that my weight was on the leg that was not on the neck when Derek had his hands in or by his pockets and is pelvis slightly bent. To put his weight on the neck he would have needed to have a more upright posture with his weight off of his toes.

But, he was found guilty, unfortunately. I hope he will be kept out of the general prison population while he appeals the verdict. I pray that the appeal will be successful. I am sure the jurors knew that all kinds of mayhem, rioting, and destruction would have followed an acquittal. They were afraid to acquit due to this as well as being fearful of their own lives.

It upsets me, too. As you said, it is out of concern for correct justice to be served in our legal system and tat without this no one is really safe from being unduly and unfairly prosecuted unless God protects us.
  • Chris - In Reply - 3 years ago
That's an interesting perception of that case, GiGi. You've gone to some lengths to simulate that fateful event & be convinced that it wasn't Chauvin's pressure on Floyd's neck that caused his death. I too have seen that video often, but have always wondered, is it normal for a police officer to assume that position for holding down a suspect - wouldn't handcuffs or other restraint be lawful, considering other officers were present with him idly standing by? If the suspect is indeed guilty, would a groaning man pleading for his life ("I can't breathe Officer, I can't breathe"), not compel the officer to relent & pursue another option? That he closed his eyes in death, with the officer's knee still against his neck, not convince a jury of a gross misdemeanor? I've never been in the police force, nor ever want to be, but in that situation, I would have acted quite differently, whether a white or coloured man.

This is a difficult case, to which any jury would balk at, given the other matters of his drug use, incoherent behaviour, etc. But anyone, particularly a police office or even a soldier on the front line, should conduct business with the highest regard to the requirements & lawful practises of his job - simply because he stands or falls because of the very implicating evidence that can be brought against him. I even think of a case recently, when a thief broke into a house, assaulted & robbed the woman resident, & the woman died of a heart attack at the crime scene. The law said that the thief wasn't the cause of her death as the woman had a heart condition. I find that judgement totally unreasonable & a miscarriage of justice. But the Law is what the Law is. The day will come when all will be judged with righteous Judgement & none can ever claim any innocence in any matter. Even evil judges will no doubt be fronting their Great Judge & learn what upholding God's Laws actually mean.
  • Adam - In Reply - 3 years ago
Hello, did you watch the unedited video? I will share what I know just in case. Maybe some are unaware of what actually happened.

Lots of people have made lots of judgments by the edited video that removed key parts, with political intent serving a narrative. The man was already high on drugs in the store, pacing and babbling incoherantly before swallowing a lethal amount of fentanyl. You can literally see it in his mouth on video to swallow right as the cops were onto him. Someone pinned down with knee is standard practice. Countless thousands of people have been restrained with knees without incident. Unbiased autopsy report confirmed he died of drug overdose not asphyxia.

Interesting how the biased news propaganda withheld that resulting in people generally unaware of this or else they don't care, because it doesn't fit the agenda. Also, if someone verbally says they can't breathe they are breathing. Someone who has enough breath to utter the words can breathe. People drowning in water for example, cannot speak, as they are out of breath. He experienced the exact symptoms of a drug overdose and it is very sad. Also sad is that they blamed his own suicide on an innocent cop that from the angle made it look like he was harming him, but that was not true and confirmed by experts. What a shame that people can't agree on what the truth is anymore and let political preferences influence what they want to see.

The main stream media is mostly a leftist religious organization at this point. There is very little truthful information being presented anymore without a political goal. Most of the positive things in the world are generally ignored and alternative viewpoints are generally disregarded. Christians are marginalized. If someone doesn't conform to the world's distorted morals they will often be publicly shamed and canceled. But some day I believe the truth will be revealed. Injustices made right. Some day every knee will bow to the Lord. Romans 14:1

Thank you for all that extra information Adam. Much could be discussed on this matter & others (past & present) but I feel that to discuss such issues, however concerning they might be, will depart from the focus & intents of this KJBO Site. So will just have to leave it & each one reading news articles, will have to decide the matter in their own hearts.
  • GiGi - In Reply - 2 years ago
My thoughts are either we can talk about world/national events on this site or we can not. We will see what administration of this site recommends. If it is determined that we can, then we all should accept that and be tolerant of others freedom to post about such things. if the administration determines that we can not, then no one should post about news events and other topics outside of discussing Scripture. I am fine either way and can abide by that determination.

This obviously struck a nerve in many people here on this news topic, unlike the ones on the covid vaccine and mandates. I don't see a difference between the acceptability of either topic being discussed on here if it is allowed.
  • S Spencer - In Reply - 3 years ago
I think you're spot on Brother Chris.

I believe worldly situations like this brings clarity to what's in the scripture. The Lord says it will be days like this.

It is sad the focus was never on a cop and perpetrator. It immediately became a raciial argument It was horrible to see the Church was even divided by this!

As you said We have a righteous judge in heaven who judges the intent and deep thoughts of man.

Intent thoughts is not visible. So we judge by eye witness. Whether this guy was high on drugs or not apparently he was coherent enough to know what he was saying when he said he can't breathe.

I've never followed on this case or any of the others because it was to racially partial.

I'm disappointed to see this come up here!

I'm sorry but I had to respond.

It reminds me of verse John 7:24.

    S. Spencer This is how I endeavor to focus my thinking. Do you want to be miserable look at yourself

look within. Do you want to be discouraged watch the world or look at others. If you want to maintain

Spiritual Peace you must look at God and His Word. We need to turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full in

His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the Light of His Glory and Grace!

Yes, brother S. Spencer, I too try to avoid referring to such matters as far as possible, especially on this type of Site. But, it does serve to show the fallibility of man, even the well-informed & skilled amongst the judiciary, who may view such cases in different ways, inconsistent to the Letter of the Law. And that behoves upon us all, whether falsely incarcerated on some matter of the law or for even being a follower of Christ, that we can fully entrust into the Lord's Hands the final outcome here on Earth & that righteous judgement will be meted out in Glory. Jesus declared this Truth in Luke 12:4,5.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
Yes Chris, you are right about how fallible we are along with our civil institutions. Look at Joseph, falsely imprisoned because of the falsehood of Potiphar's wife. God was with Joseph and blessed him even in that situation.

I do believe that we are to magnify the Lord on this site. Then again, I don't think that we should not be aware of what is happening in our world, country, and community. We are to be valuable citizens, utilizing our rights and responsibilities to for the betterment of others.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
Hi Chris, I understand where you are coming from. You brought up some other aspects that I did not speak to. I remember seeing the video and they could not handcuff him because he would not put his hands behind his back, so he was still a threat (He was big, strong, and empowered by the effects of the drugs. It is sad that he died in that situation, but I do not think that the police officers di anything to cause his death. I think he brought on his own death from taking 3 times the lethal dose of fetynal, plus the other drugs, and having covid on top of it all. There was a lot that the police did not know about George. They are not trained to medically diagnose a suspect. They are to control the suspect so they can get compliance to get in the car to be taken to the station for booking. They did their job. I ma sure that they are all second guessing themselves about it as anyone would. But none of them intended to injure let alone cause his death.

With that said, the trial and verdict stands until it is overturned by an appeal or no. Some of us here may wish to pray for Derek. Others, not. We can leave it at that.
  • Chris - In Reply - 3 years ago
Thank you GiGi. I guess, enough said on this matter, even with the facts you shared & others yet to be considered. Each one can form their opinion on the evidence presented & to know that man will never always get it right; we will always have to live with that uncertainty until the day when all things will come to light & we will then get all the answers, coming directly from the Lord of Truth.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago

    Hi Sister GiGi.

WOW! I hate I ran across this!

I NEVER followed any of this promoted by the media to divide. Not only Racial but right or wrong.

Here's the issue I have here.

We will never know the intent.

No one is perfect so I have to ask this question when I see a supposed spiritually wise and mature in the faith Christian engage so deeply in something so out of hand like this. Would you preach that from behind the pulpit in front of your mixed congregation and follow it with

    John 7:24.

    2 Timothy 2:4.

My second question to you would be would you go through all that trouble of investigating if that High, covid, black, drug atic would have killed the cop?

By what you have said you seem to be more influenced by the public pushing for a guilty plea for a cop killing a black man than than for righteous Judgement.

I honestly have never said or followed any of this on this case or any other like this. Because of the carnaliy exposed by it.

once before you said you was concerned who might be on this site and here certain things. Is that concern for everyone if you know what I mean.

    God bless and

    Good night.
  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
    Hi Spencer,

I know that you found this thread unpleasant, as you said that you hate that you ran across it.

    I get that.

For me, I don't get nearly as bothered by conversations on here about things in the news as I do about reading on this here bible forum so much biblical error, false teaching, and apostasy as i have read just in a few months I have been on here. This is what really disturbs me, but I read anyway and pray to God ow I am to respond. I choose to speak what I know to be truth into tis forum. I may be wrong at times, too. and I would hope someone would try to correct me. But I am certainly not shy about taking someone to task on a post that I think speaks untruths about God (wo He is and what He has done), man (who he is and what he has done) ,How God deals with man, matters concerning salvation. Many other topics, I am more open for difference of opinions, but i am not one to let perceived error stand.

Have a good day in Jesus today, Spencer

I haven't been able to take a moment to engage. finishing up a long 2 day project, Will be back home tonight.

    Thanks

  • GiGi again - In Reply - 3 years ago
Well, first of all, I was responding to the post by Adam on this topic. I did not initiate the conversation.

Secondly, I am aware that there are those on the site who listen without responding and I care about what they hear.

Thirdly, I don't think that talking about matters happening around us is off limits for this site. We should be concerned about how things go in our society and pray for situations that are concerning us, which is what Adam brought up in the first post on this subject.

Fourthly, I don't preach from a pulpit as I am not in such a position to do so.

Lastly, yes I would investigate it if it was alleged that a civilian had killed a cop and I was concerned that the civilian may be wrongfully accused.

If you don't wish to follow what is happening in the news, that is you perogative. If speaking about such matters is inappropriate on this site, then I would hope that the moderators would advise us not to do so.

I hate the way so many are trying to divide us along racial lines in this country. It is so wrong and unloving to do so.

My prayer is for God to work in our country to overcome these divisions and have us love our neighbors.

Even so, we will always need law enforcement to take care of situations where crime is being committed.

So, I pray for safety for the police officers and for them to work a situation within the guidelines of their training so each person can be treated properly in volatile situations.

Good night. I wish you a good rest.
  • BelieveInJesus - In Reply - 3 years ago
Ok sorry for that brother ! Yeah assumptions are dangerous.

This topic is red hot at the moment with all thats going, on its a great trial for us believers I think.

I love the report about the disciples how they couldnt wait for the Lord and went into the boat without him,

and got hit by the storm.
