    Hi GiGi.

The Lord deliverance of Israel out of Egypt was well planned out and his glory was on display Exodus 14:4. and Romans 9:17.

And them entering Egypt was impressive as well with the Lord in total control of this from the selling of Joseph

( Genesis 50:20.) through out the blessings of Joseph. I like to view it as the Lords sovereign plan being exercised

( Genesis 15:13) rather than the brothers doing evil. God was in total control, and even over the famine.

Because all this contributed to the promise he made Abraham.

    Great read.

    God bless and Goodnight.

    Thanks Spencer,

I am enjoying studying Genesis once again. I am picking up so much more than I have in prior studies. But hey, God knew that would happen, right!

God's sovereignty is tied to His omniscience. He knows everything that anyone will think, say or do throughout time. He knows everything that will happen in the natural world. He knows everything that will happen in the spiritual world. So, nothing can take Him by surprise or out maneuver Him. His sovereignty is not challenged by the free agency He gave to spiritual and corporeal beings. He does not force anyone to do anything, like what the brothers did to Joseph. He already decided before time began to bring good out what was intended for evil for Joseph, just like He decided before time began to bring good out of the evil of sin, and the crucifixion of His Son. Only God is able to do this, because He alone is sovereign, omniscient, and good.

    Amen Sister GiGi.

The Lord prepared the way for the entry and the exit in Egypt. And did it in a way perhaps only he understand! He used Joseph to prepare the way!

    A funny note:

And also Jacob loved Joseph so much he wanted to take the journey. He probably wouldn't have taken it if it was Simeon. Lol. This wasn't a perfect family to display

Gods Glory and promises to Abraham. ( A God who provides.) When we consider that the Lord to Abraham out of a Idol worshipping world along with these stories all Glory goes to God. This is all Grace!! They was in Egypt for 400 years and was Led by Lord in the wilderness for 40 years. God raised up Judges, Prophets, Priest, Kings, This was a Priestley Nation like no other nation nor will be! But the commandments slew them.

This shows us and will show us again in the Millennium that even in the best condition under the best governing, with the Lord in the midst. It's not enough! It does nothing to a ungenerated heart. The Heart of man is incurably wicked. The Lord didn't come to repair the Heart he came to create in us a New Heart.

    God bless.
