  • Paul's Marital Status - 3 years ago
    From 16 hours ago

What does Apostle Paul's former marital status if he had one) have to do with anything?

It Has nothing to do with whether we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Paul was hunting down Christians and killing them in the name of the Emperor. He had Steven the evangelist, stoned to death. He was on his way to Damascus to order some more deaths, when Jesus confronted him.

As a believer, Paul endured much persecution, physical trauma, imprisionments, stoning, running for his life, chained to a Roman guard (who got saved). He had a thorn in the flesh. (I have a thorn in the flesh. It's no picnic!)

But Paul was not the winner in persecutions. The other Apostles suffered heinous deaths also. Jesus chose each and everyone of them. He can do anything with a willing Believer. Even us.

We can answer their questions and win some to Christ__or present more questions than answers.

It's all good. I was studying that a few days ago myself. Trying to find info and then the Lord asks "why".

Well Gee Lord, He wrote the marriage chapter. Shouldn't I check on his status as a maybe husband or not?

    Silence. Which usually means no.
