Interesting question: there is a lot in this night leading up to Jesus being taken and sacrificed if we take Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John not just one. Many assume the last supper was a Passover meal, but Jesus tells us, He will not eat that Passover before he suffered, which would be the next night.
Luke 22:15-16 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
Luke tells us Jesus would not drink until the kingdom of God comes, Luke 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
So, it is after Jesus' second coming and the battle, then Jesus sets up the kingdom on earth. not in heaven.

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I WILL NOT DRINK henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
