Hello fellow children of God. The new year is approaching and many of us are wondering what it may bring to us, our families, our nation and our world. We can prayerfully order our steps according to the will of God in our own sphere of influence and stretch ourselves to reach even further out of our comfort zones
I have a prayer request that I have been seeking God for for some time. My husband and I are entering retirement and we are ready to downsize our home and relocate to a more rural and much less metropolitan vibe area. We have one place in mind, but are open for others. We currently have a two story house and our bedroom is upstairs. With back problems that may persist, I would like to have a one story, smaller house for us age in. I have made the house plan that would be adequate for us, nothing fancy, modest and easy to maintain. we have been looking for property for a few years but have not been led yet to the lot that will sort of "check all the boxes" we would prefer to have a simple lifestyle.
So, we would appreciate it is some of you would join in on our prayers for the Lord to open up the best lot for us to be put up for sale soon before pricing rise too high with this awful inflation. That we will know for sure when we see it that it is the lot God wants for us to buy and build on. And that all matters with a builder, permitting, etc. will go smoothly. Thank you so much. I rarely pray for material things for us. God as made us frugal and good money managers that keep us well. But this is something we do feel led to do, so I guess it is time to ask for the prayers of others as well.
