Do not be confused thinking the reference to the prince of Tyrus in v. 2 is the same as the king of Tyrus in v. 12. A king and a prince are not the same. While the prince mentioned was certainly a man (v. 9), the king in v. 12 is obviously being described here as a spiritual creature.
