Hi Thomas. The Bible doesn't speak of a particular number of people required to be present before the Lord's Supper is commemorated. We see in these passages, ( 1 Corinthians 10:16,17, 1 Corinthians 11:18-34, Acts 2:42-46, Acts 20:11), that the 'breaking of bread' was observed with other believers present (whether a small number or not). However, to observe it without others present, I would think is your choice, as you prayerfully & thoughtfully take of the bread & wine remembering the Lord's Sacrifice for you. I doubt if many would do it this way as we would meditate on that Gift to us from the reading of the Word & prayer, but I don't see anything wrong in doing as you suggest.
I agree. The Bible suggests community and gathering among Christians, but there are times when this isn't always possible and I think God understands our circumstances and our heart.
Can one person do communion with his self?
