Hello! I asked a question 2 days ago and I never got a reply. I thought maybe it was going to take a while so I kept checking back and noticed that some people that asked questions got an answer back in a few hours. Please refer to my previous question on page 3 and if you don't have an answer, that's ok just please let me know.

    Hi Becki

I am glad that you got some replies to your question.

I am glad that you brought it up again because you had not received a reply.

Many of us try to go back and pick up on posts that did not get a reply because we think that people pose their questions or comments to get a reply that will help them understand Scriptural ideas better.

God's blessing to you today. We welcome you questions and please continue to speak up if you don't get a reply right away.

We try, but can miss some posts or just need more time to research and consider an appropriate reply.

Thank you Gigi! If it happens again I will just wait a little longer for a response and keep in mind that if I ask a hard question, that I should give people a chance to research an answer for me. Thanks again!

    Hi Becki

Yes if anyone posts a question, comment, or prayer request and does

Not get a response when one is desired, I do suggest that someone repost and say like you did, "I was hoping for a response to such and such, do I am reposting to receive one, knowing that some do get overlooked."

    That way

Others will know that a person is really desiring a response and some prayer request are urgent, timewise.

    God bless and good day.

Hi Becki. I found your comment which I've copied here for any others to consider & comment. Since what you seek falls outside the revelation given to us in the Bible, therefore a qualified answer cannot be given.

    Becki wrote:

"I recently spoke with a Christian man that has theologian friends that dig through scripture intensely and he told me that the tribe of Naphtali when they fought in battle on King David's side ,was made up of a Nephilim hybrid, half man and half lion. I looked up the word "Nephilim" in an encyclopedic version of the King James Bible that I inherited from my mother when she passed away, and the word Nephilim says next to it, to refer to " Naphtali". I know GOD destroyed the world by the flood the first time, because everyone except Noah and his family was genetically altered in that fallen angels had sex with human women and produced a race of giants but it saddens me that mankind is so depraved in the mind that even after that they just kept interbreeding with animals. Can such a creature be redeemed if they have the capability to choose to fight in a war on GOD'S side with David? Would a creature like this have a soul? I'm just asking because I believe that is what a "Bigfoot" is. (a Nephilim hybrid)."

As you may know, Naphtali was a son of Jacob (Israel) through his handmaid, Bilhah ( Genesis 35:25). There's no indication there, or anywhere else, to suggest that Naphtali nor his descendants were ever of a "Nephilim hybrid, half man & half lion". I'm unsure where you learnt this, but it sounds like some type of legend or myth that has been erroneously propagated. I don't believe that it is biologically possible to breed between species, mainly because of the different gene pairs involved, so creatures such as 'half-man/half-lion' are impossible & just mythical beings. We can find extraordinary people, e.g. giants, multi-digit fingers/toes, etc., but they are still essentially human. Others might have more informed thoughts on this.

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me. I know it seems impossible to breed between species, this boggles my mind also, but so does everything GOD does, and I just resign myself to the realization that I will never figure GOD out. What it does say in the Bible is that in the days of Noah, that angels ( obviously of the fallen nature because the 2/3 that stayed on GOD'S side during the war satan started in heaven decided to obey GOD) had relations with human women, which bred a race of giants called "Nephilim". I believe that if it happened in the Bible, that it's true, and it is possible that it could happen again unless GOD said it won't (ex; flooding the entire earth) So as impossible as it seems for a supernatural being to produce children with a human... GOD says it happened,so it did. So if that was not impossible, then I was just thinking, maybe that a hybrid man/lion was possible also? Though I think the thought of man going that far is depraved, scary and yes mind boggling. But as GOD says, " The heart of man is wicked!" " Who can know it?" Thank you for your input.

Hi Becki. I know that Genesis 6:1-4 has been a passage variously translated by many. If the fallen angels were the 'sons of God', they obviously were given (or, had) powers of procreation with humans. This aspect alone separates those that believe the giants (nephilim) resulted from such a union, from those who believe that's impossible.

And then we have the view: that Genesis 6:1-3 (of the sons of God coming to human women) as a separate event to that of v4a, "There were giants in the earth in those days". In other words, that the appearance of giants were not associated with this abnormal procreation between spirit beings & human beings; that they were simply tall people (maybe of both men & women) that were like that because of gene abnormality. And that (rest of v4) the progeny of that union became "mighty men of renown", were not necessarily referring to those of giant appearance, but to those of verse 2.

The third view: that the "sons of God" were of those who remained faithful to God (i.e. Seth's progeny), whereas those of Cain's, forgot the Lord & went into evil idolatrous ways.

It would be difficult from such a brief account, be able to give a clear answer - each option having some merit. But to imagine a fusion of human & animal into one grotesque creature would be hard to swallow. I hope that the Spirit will bring us all into a greater understanding of this, as we learn more of man's wickedness & God's graciousness that pervades His Plan for this world.

Hello Chris! Thank you for your reply and yes I do pray that the HOLY SPIRIT opens up my understanding to these things so I can understand these difficult things that I am finding it hard to navigate but I also realize, as I said to T.Levi, that there are somethings I will just have to wait till heaven to find out, and that's ok because I realize I have to just trust where I can't understand because and I will never fully know the mind of GOD and if HE did allow such things to happen, why HE did. If it is useful for me to know now, HE will show me and if not I know I will have to wait until we are made perfect in CHRIST at the end of our time here.

    Hello Becki,

From what I understand most (or all) of us answering questions & possibly moderating are volunteers, that's what I've been told, I'm one that is. Freely I've received freely I should give. Matthew 10:8,

I myself did not answer because I don't know that teaching.

I am sorry that happened & I wish it didn't happen here. Each person here has their own reasons to be here. I jump on here irregularly, sometimes it's daily sometimes not for months. I do notice several questions do get overlooked= that's why I continue to volunteer here. = To try & answer the questions that seem to get skipped, overlooked, lost inside many words... Sometimes I answer a question that was overlooked & then there are several people giving alternative answers, weirdly. I was actually discouraged much recently & was going to stop volunteering here starting last night/today. Of course I prayed. Then after reading the WORD here just now, I went back into Discussion tab to find book in proposed reading 4 new year. & I saw your response, I feel a tug on my heart to help you. I don't believe that teaching of the Angels of GOD having children. Please read these scriptures: Matthew 22:28-32, Mark 12:24-25, Romans 8:14-17, John 1:12, Jude 1:1-25, if that were possible it would've happened in Tobit 3:7-17, Tobit 6:13-14 wouldn't it have?

I recommend reading the HOLY Scriptures 2 Timothy 3:1-17,

    Hopefully these are helpful

Hello T.Levis, Thank you for trying your best to answer me. I did look up the verses that you asked me to refer to ,and yes, I am familiar with the verses about us being like the angels when we get to heaven and not marrying or being given in marriage and I believe this is because GOD made marriage for us here on earth only to populate the earth for generations until the day of CHRIST's return ,and all the people in heaven have no need of regeneration anymore because whoever is going to accept JESUS as savior is already there and all the Saints ( the Church) will be married to Jesus and no one else. And the Angels in heaven are the Angels that fought on GOD's side when pride was found in Lucifer's heart and he got 1/3 of the angels in heaven on his side and they were cast out with Lucifer and are now demons. I have been a Christain for 52 years and have heard many studies on an Angel being a being that is neither male or female, although it seems that in the Bible when GOD sent them to intervein for someone on earth they most often appeared in the form of young men. So even though GOD says they are neither male or female, it also says angels in Genesis did have relations with human women and produce a race of giants called Nephilim. Even though I find this very hard to understand, I do trust GOD's word as true ,and I know I will never understand some things this side of heaven. I will never have the mind of GOD. Only HE is GOD and knows everything so I just trust where I can't understand. Also I am unfamiliar with Tobit. Is this in the Catholic Bible? I do not mean to insult anyone but the seven books added to the Catholic Bible I believe are irrelivant because after the old and new testament were written, GOD said not to add or take away from the scriptures as they were. So I only read the King James version. Also I believe the angels in Genesis that mated with women were fallen angels that were cast out with Lucifer. The other angels choose to obey GOD in heaven

Becki, hi again. I was very surprised when I saw the 1611 King James Version Bible. I read the information about it on this site. Even researching online my results found these "new" "Books" of the HOLY Bible were actually taken out when printed in USA to save costs. Yes it's alarming because we're not suppose to add or take away. Deuteronomy 12:32, Rev. 22:18,19, if you click the 1611 tab it will take you to that translation. I have been studying that version myself recently.

    Dear T Levi

    I enjoy your posts!

I understand your feelings about ceasing participating on here. I have felt that way, too.

But, like you, the Lord urged me to remain and participate.

I especially feel led Toledo up on the prayer requests. People posting these can receive answers when we agree together in prayer. So, I hope to stay diligent in this respect. I encourage others to respond to prayer requests , too.

Sometimes, I am not able to get on line. So I pray that others will check the requests regularly, too do tha all requests are responded to with prayer and encouraging words.

Hang in here with us, please.

    We appreciate your contributions.
