    Do you think in Ezekiel was talking about it being from the north meaning heaven or just where his vision appeared from

    If you're referring to Ezekiel 1:4 Lynn, my sense is that the whirlwind/cloud came from the North. But his visions, began to manifest themselves as the heavens (expanse of sky above him) were unfolded for revelation sake. As the sky opened, the whirlwind came forth from a northerly direction.
