I looking for a scripture that says the more knowledge a person has the more is expected of them paraphrase
  • Marjorie Hodges - In Reply - 2 years ago
Please continue to keep in mind the search is about the more that is given the more is expected/required of the person Luke 12 :48 was the closest passage then the reference scripture takes a different subject and that is the punishment for a certain sin but I don't want to stop because I believe that the search will tell about the gifts from God so for the gospel being studied and shared much thanks to everyone iinvolved in this search suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

Dear Marjorie Hodges, In my translation I have a reference to

Leviticus 5.17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he knew it not, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

Many thanks to you who made me dwell on this! Love u in Christ.

    Luke chapter 6. God bless

When you want to study a scripture or passage:

Go on Google and type it in this way. I generally look at stuff on the BIBLEHUB link

    Type like this:

    Matthew 12:48, Commentaries

    Matthew 12:48, Teachings

    Matthew 12:48, History

May the Lord bless your hunger and thirst with joy and revelation
