Where does it say the antichrist will not have a love of women
  • LaVonne M - In Reply - 2 years ago
This is for Mike Keese concerning the Antichrist and love of women

"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god:

for he shall magnify himself above all"

    Daniel 11:37 KJV
  • SPENCER SHAW - In Reply - 2 years ago
    never heard that one before

Rev 12:17 KJV - And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

here the bible is talking about the devil being wroth with the children of God.

    Hi Mike.

I also hold the view that this is future and is talking about the Antichrist.

    Jesus mentions it being future.

Matthew 24:15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

( Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.)

This has happened in the past with Antiochus IV, " Before "Jesus ministry here on earth but it's going to happen again.

It's what's called a double reference in scripture.

    God bless.

    Hi Mike.

Daniel 11:37. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

This quote The desire of women is a title in the Hebrew language. It has a messianic expectation. It doesn't mean the desire "FOR" women as we would put it.

    God bless.

Perhaps someone else can help us on this.

    Hey Mike Keese,

You will find that in Daniel 11:37, some put this at the end times, but my understanding, this was in the past, Read the entire chapter and also 1 Maccabees will talk about some of it. Antiochus IV is who this is speaking of and what he did to Jerusalem and stopping the daily sacrifices, the abomination of desolation in the temple. Whoever was found in possession of a Torah was put to death, whoever circumcised their children were put to death and a lot more. I will keep it short, may this help.

    God bless,

    RLW
