Abraham knew the Word of God, from oral transmission, since Adam, including the Promise done by God of an Eve's Descendent. Abraham look above this world's evil, up into the skyes and called for The Lord God Almighty, The Creator of All Universe, and because of that he became the faith's father.
Metusalm died before deluge, and was both, Enoch and Noah's contemporary. Noah cherished The Promise of a Descendent, that would come to destroy death's power, evil originator and all evildoers, for ever.
The oral transmission was solid, about the present truth, and cherished by Abraham.
Abraham was aware of his own need, for a closer relashionship with God. He called for God like Jacob and Moses, did later. God answered them all, according with His Love's Character. It'swritten. Anyone who comes to Me, wil not be forsaken. and If you hear His Voice, Today, don't hardened your heart. may God help me and you, to remmember it today and every day Jesus's example My food and drink is to do God's Will. Faith comes by listening to God's Word, and sharing God's love with our neighbor. men!
