Soooooo, if God didn't create Death (and Death, definitely is a spirit) then who/what did?

    Hello

I have never read in Scriture that Death is a spirit or entity. It is the cessation of life. God allows sin to bring mortal corruption, death, and decay to our world. God gives life to every living thing because He is the source of all life as He has life within Himself (being self-existent). When He withdraw life from a living organism, it dies and is unable to bring itself to life again.

That is how death has victory over us. But God is sovereign over death and all-powerful. Only God can give life again to a being that has died, spiritually and physically. This is how God has victory over death.

God has power over life and death. It is not a created thing. It is the lack of life, just like darkness is the absence of light.

And ultimately death is lack of connection with God who is Life within Himself being sel-existent and the source of all life.
