In the old testament Adam and Eve had children. Where did their wives come from. They were the first people created

The simple answer is that the daughters weren't mentioned. Clearly; before the law the only means of reproduction were from siblings hence "incest" wasn't considered a sin. It wasn't long; however before the Genesis 6 corruption of man; when angels seduced women and produced the "men of renown" aka the giants who God systematically destroyed primarily at the flood and later with the destruction of the surrounding wicked nations of Israel to be conquered.

The 6th day creation,.. there were many people here , long before Adam & Eve ,..

Cain had a wife before he went to dwell in Nod!

Genesis 4:16-17. And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

AND CAIN KNEW HIS WIFE; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

We have no idea how old he was when he slew Abel.

And Adam and Eve could have had hundreds of kids by the time Cain slew Abel. God said be fruitful and multiply, he certainly would have gave them the ability to do it!

If God had a second set of created beings why would remove a rib out of Adam to make woman?

Lets follow the logic being presented and entertain the notion of a second set of beings created.

1) Genesis 2:18. And the LORD God said, IT IS NOT GOOD THAT THE MAN SHOULD BE ALONE; I will make him an help meet for him.

( Now this suggests God's done with creating any other Men.)

God completed his work and rested from all he created here in Genesis 2:2.

and incase we missed it God repeats

himself in the next verse.

Genesis 2:3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God "CREATED AND MADE."

What he do forget to make a second set of men and went back to work on the 8th day?

Genesis 2:21-22. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Now if God is going to go back to work on the 8th day what's the point in removing a rib from Adam to make Eve?

Now if there was a second set of humans they would have never died because they would be cursed by Adams sin. W

Adam and Eve was the only two God created to multiply the Earth. and he did somewhat manner with Noah.

That shouldn't be a problem being he spoke up Adam from the dust of the Ground.

In Genesis 2:7. He's going over what he has already done in Genesis 1:27.

If you read you see twice God created man, Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Genesis 2:7

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. but we only know in part? 2Corinth3:12 And then we see this, Genesis 6:4

"There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."

In Chapter 1 God says for them to replenish the earth. In the dictionary "replenish" is in the bible as to be fruitful to multiply. Then after the flood the LORD God says again to "replenish". This time it makes sense. Were there already men on the earth? Bcuz they took wives that were from men. Were they Gods, and did they contribute to the Giants?
