Gen. 22 : 15 and Hebrews 6 : 13 ..All this Bornagain Doctrine was in the mind of God when he made that great Promise of the multiplication of Christ Jesus. This is where all the SON OF MAN Doctrine got started. AS the only way Christ can be Multiplied as the stars of heaven is unless he goes forth to sow his precious seed in Humanity..The field being the world,..As Jeremiah saw all the world in travail and birth pains...27 Times in the O.T. the Prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains...This is where all the Son of MAN doctrine got started..Isaiah knew that the Kingdom wd have to come as a lil Child...Thats y he was saying unto us a Child is born unto us son is given A heavenly Birth..But all this Son of Man doctrine was wrapped up in the New Covenant of Jeremiah a birthing covenant..I will KNOW THEM ALL..THIS KNOW THEM ALL IS AN INTIMACY that is gonna result in a Birth of Christ in Humanity...Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN..Meaning mankind ( the Woman ) The only way Spirits can be born...Is by his seed the word Resulting in the multiplcation of very God,..Remember God swore by his very self when he made that Promise..Thus there is gonna be an Israel of God which is the multiplication of very God in Us sinners..They that be whole need not a physician but they that are sick..Thats the world..The Woman..Us sinners...Woman thou art loosed...God so loved the world..Be ye perfect as your FATHER in heaven is perfect...Thus the need for a new Covenant..Which is the book Jesus wrote with his own blood...Its only by the words of the book that Jesus can do the will of his FATHER...(Sow that good seed IN THE HEARTS OF HUMANITY )...In the volume of the book it is Written of mi I delight to do thy will O GOD...The words of the book contain the words of life...His Blood...But the written words does not contain any blood...only his voice the living words contain his blood.. written words has been molested but the living words cannot be molested
Good evening Chris. Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate that. Just so you know, I do not get fired up about what I read that seems like error to me. That is not my personality. So, please do not think that I have posted anything out of anger, hostility, or to overpower anyone else. I just happen to have a straightforward way of speaking, as others do on here, and I honestly think we should believe what Jude says about contending for the faith. The word contending does not mean to only say nice things to people or to not say anything if one cannot say anything nice to another person. It means to be assertive in ones position, which I know that I am.
I understand what you have said about speaking about what the Bible says. I don't think that one must identify specific Scripture verses every time one speaks about Biblical matters. Yet, I admit that it is often helpful to do this. So, thanks again for your input.
GI Gi...I have asked you on several occasions...lets Plz abide by the Guidelines of this Forum...This is not your personal judgement hall..This forum is only a place we can come and make comments about the KJV BIBLE...I cd not care less about what your Church teaches...I only care what the bible teaches the KJV...Everyday in big bold letters we read Plz abide by the Guidelines BEFORE posting...But you continue to make derogatory remarks about my Post...Only God can make righteous Judgement not any of US...So plz do not address me again unless its in a kindler tone...But i do still want to be your friend...I still love you, but we cannot make this forum into a Church judgement hall...So plz abide by the guidelines of this forum...GBU..Alex N
If so, I am talking about the consistent teaching of the Christian church through the centuries. But you can always study this topic for yourself to see what has been considered orthodox Christian teachings within the Christian Church.
There r and have been very many different denominations over the last two thousand years and I imagine that if they all taught the same thing then there wouldnt b any need for so many different denominations . U often mention church doctrines and for me to fully appreciate what u mean by that it would b helpful for me to know which church u r talking about so maybe I can research their doctrines and understand u better . I don't have the time or energy to research them all and even if I did I wouldn't want to try to second guess u and figure out which one u r refering to . It would defo help me to understand your posts better if u just told me which church u r talking about . Thanks in anticipation .
Hello Grae, I took a week off of posting by prompting from the Holy Spirit, so I hope you didn't think I ignored this post. I was just waiting for the week to be up to respond. As I stated before, the church I am speaking of is not a particular denomination. I am speaking of the Christian Church in general from the 1st century up to now. I hope this answers your question.
The topic I was addressing with Alex is about God impregnating believers with his spiritual seed to bring forth a baby Christ or baby Holy Ghost or that we become a baby Christ or a baby Holy Ghost or that God does this to replicate or multiply Himself in believers.
This teaching goes against what God has stated adamantly throughout Scripture that He alone is God and there is, has been, and will be no other gods (created beings) beside Himself. Also, I do not see this narrative of Alex's proclaimed in Scripture anywhere. Neither has the church through the ages affirmed such a narrative as legitimate doctrine, rather that anyone who claims that they can become 'god' in any way is speaking heresy. That is my position.
I have been studying up on these statements of Alex's to see what reputable sites have to say about these views. If you want to find out, I suggest exploring the ideas on sites like CARM, Got Questions, Bible ask, and others. You can google:
Theosis
'Little gods"
Spirit of Sonship/Adoption
Partakers of the divine nature
You will find that those who think like Alex are usually among the Pentacostal, Word of Faith, non-denominational charismatic church groups. Those who oppose it comprise the overwhelming majority of Christian denominations active today.
I suggest that you look at articles from both sides and compare the ideas to Scripture like I have in the past (because this view has been going around some portions of the groups I mentioned since 1948, but especially ramped up in the 70's and beyond).
I studied up on it then and found this teaching heretical, as I do now
Gi Gi Gbu..But if you think about the Promise to Abraham it was about multiplication...Because Abraham OFFERED UP his only son Issac God Promised Abraham that he wd be multiplied as the sands of the seas...But the 2 nd Promise was a heavenly Promise... GEN 22 : 15 and Hebrews 6 : 13 ...That was the only Promise that God made that he Swore by himself....Impling that he himself was gonna be multiplied as the Stars of HEAVEN...Thus the sower and his precious seed the WORD that new Covenant The H.G. the Children of PROMISE via the good seed of Christ...Thats y Isaiah refers to JESUS as everlasting father. impling he was gonna Sire Children everlasting Children the H.G. Spirits...That Promise to Abraham resulted in the 12 tribes...But under the new covenant there is gonna be an Israel of God via the seed of Christ...A lil one is gonna become a thousand and a small one a strong nation...An Israel of God...In Rev 22 we see the 12 manner of fruits coming out of the Throne of God a heavenly Israel ...And Isaiah 49 tells us of a Heavenly Jacob...which is an Israel of God...the sun nor any heat does lite on them...b/c they are Spirts..An Israel of God that is gonna be born in us sinners...Our new innerman is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE the Kingdom...Truly i say unto you Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...Which is that woman in travail and birth pains ...
.....Ya gotta realize just as there was an eartly Israel by the offering up of Issac...There is gonna be a heavenly Israel by the offering up of Christ Jesus...Remember that great Promise was 2 fold ...Earthly and Heavenly...If ya be in Christ then are you Abrahams seed and heirs according to the PROMISE...That new covenant being the Promise the multiplication of Christ in humanity as the Field is the world Jew amd Gentile a like. ..As 27 times in the O.T. the prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains...Remember Jeremiah saw ALL MEN in TRAVAIL. Jer. 30 : 6 KJV..
Hi Gigi , good to know that u r ok . Thanks for your reply and info . I'm not much of a one for looking things up on the internet , especially when it comes to religion . As far as I'm concerned , we r all reading the same Bible and none of us knows anything that can't b known by anyone else . I read things on here that I don't agree with but I don't say anything , we r all on learning curve , none of us knows everything there is to know about the Bible . I going to b honest though I don't wish to offend u or anyone else , I'm over sensitive when it come to feeling that some one is being singled out and picked on . I'm not accusing u or anyone and people can pick on me all day and it will wash right over me . However , i get very protective over others . One whiff of some one being made to feel unwelcome or singled out for negative attention and my hackles go up . Over a couple of years I've read everyone on here and found out who I gel with and who I don't . I read the ones I like and ignore the ones I don't . It saves me a lot of stress that's for sure . I'm sorry but I shall always jump in and defend if I feel some one is getting a rough deal , it's my nature , nothing personal , it's just who I am . I hope to can understand this . I'm glad u r ok and back on here .
Thank you for your reply. I agree that we should not 'pick on" anyone on this forum. But there is a difference between attacking someone personally and refuting someone's viewpoint posted here. I have done the latter concerning Alex. As believers, for the sake of others, we should do this when a viewpoint is dangerously contrary to what the Bible tells us about God, His nature, Jesus, His nature, and humans and their natures. I think that the viewpoint presented by Alex is seriously out of the bounds of Scripture. And so, I speak up. I think we should do this, as Paul, John, and Jude spoke up against heresy within the church.
Not everyone cares to do that, or likes it when it occurs. It is fine if you can ignore posts you disagree with and not read posts from people you do not feel an affinity with. We have this freedom.
As to not researching religious subjects, many on this forum do not wish to do that. I am one who will research because there are many sites that give biblical insights that are helpful. If one wishes to only seek understanding in the Bible from only themselves, then that is fine, but such a person has to really speak truthfully when they say this, that is not seeking input from ANYONE else but self alone. If one who says that they only learn straight from the Bible and then in reality discusses Biblical topics and interpretations with other believers in person, from books, on the T.V., You Tube, or internet, in a bible study group, from a pastor, or any other source is being untruthful.
Grae, I don't know personally what you do concerning this. So, I am not implicating you in this. And I certainly wish you and Alex no harm nor ill-will.
As for me, and many others, I believe that it was intended by the apostles (and Christ) that it is intended that Christian growth is to happen within the community of believers and not to the exclusion of input from other believers. That is why I research, do learn from others in the ways I listed
Thank you for your reply to me . I only have one or two more things to say about this and then I would b very happy to drop the whole thing . Firstly , I know from reading this site for at least two years now , that I don't believe the same things as everyone on here and they don't believe the same things as I do . If I were to list my beliefs on here I'm sure that u and some others would find my beliefs heretical in your opinion . This doesn't bother me one bit . Secondly , it's worth pondering that whatever we say to others reveals a lot about ourselves . I will b honest with u and say that whenever u give your rebuttals to Alex , your actual message to him is lost on me and all that comes into my mind is sadness for Alex , as I feel as if u r victimising him again , and sadness for u because of the way u speak to him and what it reveals to me about u . I'm ashamed of myself for not coming on here and saying these things to u a long time ago . There r many regulars on here who have chosen to sit back and say nothing to u while they must have known that your attitude toward Alex was distressing him . I'm ashamed of them also . I'm guessing this comment of mine will b removed pretty quickly . No one likes to hear the truth .
Thanks for such a well thought out reply. I appreciate your concern. I realize that people may not care for my responses to Alex. But please note that they are all responses to what he posted. I did not initiate the topic of this narrative that is posted over and over again. By doing so, I understood this as that Alex posted this again and again because he wished to have a discussion concerning it. I may have misunderstood that about him.
Also, people are always free to speak to me about their impressions of me. I understand that some will have a favorable impression and others will have an unfavorable one. I can handle that hearing what others think of me. So thank you for sharing.
I agree that we can move on from this exchange. I wish you well tonight.
Dear Gigi , thanks for your reply to me . There r a lot of people on here who r very passionate in their beliefs and I think that that is a good thing . We all know how Jesus feels about lukewarm don't we ? I just feel that we all need to b careful that our own passion for our own beliefs doesn't literally consume and reduce to ashes , someone else on here . I'm thankful that u understand where I'm coming from . Love in Christ .
If u read all the comments from Alex in this thread ,in one of them to me , he says that u have been persecuting him for a year . He didn't need to tell me that as I have been reading this site for over two years . I thought that we had dropped this line of conversation . I now defo have , so if u speak to me of this again I shan't read your post . I prefer to talk about the greatest things . May God bless all of us on this site with peace and calmness and fellowship in Him .
Just so you know, I have only been on this site since November, not for a year. But I agree, you and I can cease this thread of discussion. I am just waiting for Alex's reply.
Welcome back GiGi. And thank you for a pertinent well-balanced response that should settle in our minds your heart towards all here & that you do not hold any evil intent by what you write. As much as it's difficult to be restrained when error is being published, I think the secret is to make it known once & leave it be, if for nothing else but to keep the comments on this Site focussed on the Word of God & not tending towards any personality.
The best way if error is noted, & I have been taken to task as well by some, is to simply offer comment or answer a question on what you believe is from God's Word. In that way, others reading the thread can then consider, from the Scriptures & Spirit's help, as to which comments, if any, are worthy. I do know where you're coming from, as I get fired up also, but with the medium we have here to convey our thoughts, the barriers are far greater than when in a face-to-face meeting. Anyway, keep up the good work - your posts are always informative & enriching.
Grae...Gbu for that wondeful post...Its very helpful to know someone is looking out for me a bit ..There is someone who sees in the Spritual realm...There is someone in this forum who is not eat up with Carnal Church Doctrine...That which is born of the flesh always persecutes them that are born of the Spirit...She has been persecuting me for a whole yr....ty GBU
God bless u Alex , please keep up the good work . After my last post to Gigi I'm not sure that I will either b allowed on here again or even that I want to b , so , in case u don't hear from me again I send u much love in Christ and I'm looking forward to meeting u in Our Father's Kingdom . Be not soon shaken , u r precious and n His sight .
Gi Gi...Ty for your carnal Church teachings...But you will neva be bornagain unless you understand he has to KNOW US thats when that good seed is sown in our hearts...iInitiating a birth of Christ in Us...The Son of man, mankinds fruit unto God ....Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the words of God that liveth and abideth for ever...G-G the Churches have been in darkness for 2 k yrs...They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin...he has a seed to sow in humanity that y he has to know US...Jesus told that Woman at the well if you knew the gift of God AND WHO IT IS THAT ASKED OF YOU TO DRINK...( Jesus who is God the son ) you wd have asked of him and he wd have given you eternal life...Living Water...The H.G. that is truly divine...our new innerman is the H.G....Jesus himself says to whom the word came it made them Gods..Remember the living WORD is God...Gi Gi you need to be bornagain...But that requires believing in gestation in the spritual realm...Meaning he has to know Us..Gi Gi the gift of God is Jesus who is God the son....Why is it you cannot understand that simply truth. GBU
With respect to you and love in the Lord, in your reply to me you judged me and spoke derogatorily about my views. But I am not personally offended by you in this.
I only point out the error of your teaching because I think it is very grievous and offends against teaching the Word of God.
I guess that I am probably not the first nor only person to point this out to you on this forum. I think it is very unliving to NOT speak to someone about serious error. That is why I reply to you this way. I am also concerned about those who read your erroneous viewpoint over and over again as you post it in almost every post you submit. I do not reply to every one of these posts by you, but do at intervals for the sake of readers who may be vulnerable to error and for your sake.
I am well aware of the guidelines for posting. It does not say we cannot disagree with another poster. But I will reread them so I can be sure I am respecting them. People are always free to criticize what I post. I do not consider that person as making this site their personal judgment hall. Usually a person would say that in order to silence another person. For me, I do not wish to discourage anyone from posting their views. But I do think that anyone posting on this public forum should realize that in doing so they place themselves in a position for their viewpoints to be evaluated, questioned, or criticized. I realize that I am a strong person in many ways. And this can bother another person. But I know that I never intend to be hurtful or unloving to anyone. I work hard at addressing viewpoints, ideas, interpretations of Scripture, and methodology for interpreting Scripture and not the character of another. I do not think I have questioned your character or defamed you here. But if you think I have, please tell me specifically what I posted that would qualify as that. I wish you well and extend the love of Christ to you in everything I say to you. I hope you can receive that from me.
Hi Alex , I think it's important for us all to remember that God has given us the Bible so that we , as individuals can find these things out for ourselves . Over many centuries the so called church has done many extremely evil things that directly contradict what the Bible says and they still do . God wants us , our hearts and minds and He appeals to us on an individual level , He knows us all individualy . We don't need to rely on what any church tells us as we can read it all for ourselves . Many people on this site talk about how the Spirit guides them , helps them to understand things etc , so , who do I go with ? The church or the Spirit ? If I have church doctrines why do I need the Spirit to help me understand things ? If I have the Spirit why should I go with church doctrines ,and , which church ? So many have very different views . I think that it's very important to read the whole Bible with an open mind and heart . God is speaking to us as individuals when we read the Bible . We r connecting directly with Him and that's what He wants us to do . He knows exactly how to teach us what He wants us to know and when He wants us to know it . It's been my experience that many do not spend enough time just reading and enjoying the Bible every day . That's what it takes . Read it every day . It's not a sprint , it's a life long relationship and as such it takes time and patience and determination to get the best out of it . I always enjoy your posts and hope to read more of them . May God continue to bless you . And us with your presence on this site .
I understand what you have said about speaking about what the Bible says. I don't think that one must identify specific Scripture verses every time one speaks about Biblical matters. Yet, I admit that it is often helpful to do this. So, thanks again for your input.
