Hi my brothers and sisters it's been a very long time since I've been here and every time I post something I gain not only encouragement but also other brothers and sisters who are well more upright than I. Last Thursday I was reading Exodus 15 at work and suddenly I felt hands on my shoulders. Now I've been a Christian for going on four years and I know the spirit of God moves in me and lives in me but this was a feeling I've never felt. It wasn't bad but I didn't think much of it. To be honest when it happened I just said hm. And huhlol. Later on I spoke with my mom and she stated that it was Jesus letting me know he's always there. I told my grandma who's 96 years old and said it was like the hand of God was on me and so then she replied well that's because it was. I've been trying to tell as many people because it's a beautiful experience to even given this is solely on his grace and grace alone. He's teaching me that Satan is a liar and even though my wife and I are unequally yoked and have my reservations on my marriage I have to rely on the power of God for everything. I know I can come on here and y'all will listen to me and not condemn me or say something very ugly. I just feel like sometimes I have no one to speak to other than God who I love speaking to. Him and I will go hours speaking. On the road. When I wake up. When I shower.etc.I ask for your prayers concerning my faith and me getting stronger with God but also for my wife that one day she's lead to Christ. Even when my soul is fading I know he will deliver me. Have a blessed night/day

Thank you Arnold for your very honest and open post . We are always surrounded by God's love . Some time , more than others in our lives , we need to really feel it . He is very close to us all , always . Never doubt Him . So many times I've needed His care , and it's been there . He is so kind to me , every day in a million different ways . He is my peace , my comfort , my strength ,my rock , my smile and my sanity , every day . I couldn't bear to live one second in these awful kingdoms of men if I didn't know that He is always with me . He loves us all very much . I hope He sends Jesus back soon . Every day , I see more pain and misery in my friends , family , neighbours and community . We need Christ so much . Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem .

Suze: It sounds like from your post that Christ has already come the second time.

Hebrews 9:27 And it is appointed unto man (sinful flesh) once to die, but after this judgement (rightfully dividing the word of God, which is truth).

Psalms 37:28 For the Lord loveth judgement ..........

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered (in the flesh, as sinful flesh) to bear the sins of many (all); and unto them that look for him he shall appear the SECOND TIME (as the Holy Ghost)(as a thief in the night) without sin unto salvation.

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death (on the cross, as sinful flesh) of his saints.

Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise ....

Christ arose to a new body that is immortal, as you died with him, you also arose with him, Christ is LIFE and TRUTH, when you depart this fleshly body all that remains is LIFE and TRUTH, as you bear the image of the earthly you will bear the image of the heavenly.

He who is born of spirit IS SPIRIT.

God is Spirit.

Spirit is all the things that can't be seen, life, faith, love, mercy, truth, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, etc.

You will be the image of Christ, because Christ is the image of God.

1 Corinthians 3:21-23 ...for all things are yours ...and ye are Christ's and Christ is God's.

Christ is in creation bringing creation to truth, when you join him you will be doing the same thing.

Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God (SPIRIT) the Judge of all, and to the SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT.

Revelation 10:11 And he (spirit of Christ) said unto me (John) thou (John) prophesy again (as the image of Christ, working in creation, as a ministering spirit) before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

John 1:51 ....Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels (messenger's) of God ascending and descending upon the son of man.

Dear Arnold,

I just want to tell you that I know what You are talking about in feeling the hands on your shoulders. I have had this experience several times and both were at a time when God was leading me into a situation that I had to listen closely to the Holy Spirit and not myself and obey God in things that were hard for me to do and a bit scary. But I could not bear to not follow God's direction.

I will pray for you and your wife tonight.

Heavenly Father, Arnold and his wife are not equally yoked, Change this Lord, and bring his wife to faith in You soon. Cause her heart to yearn for You and seek You earnestly. Give Arnold the perfect words to speak to her to encourage her to turn to You and be saved. Lord, help Arnold to grow in faith. Bring to him believing friends to share time with and support him. We ask these things in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

I'm very sorry that I'm barely getting back to this post. First and foremost I love you all and I can't wait to see you and talk to you. I'm sure we will all have many stories of many trials we had and overcame. I believe you are right about hearing Gods directive. I have been struggling all the time with loving unconditionally, loving him more to love others and just enjoying him more. Ever since that experience happened to me it's like a fire that was there erupted and exploded. A few days ago I went to the park with my 18 month yr old son and I said Lord I'm not going to force myself to talk to anyone about you I'm just going to let you control my speaking. I was able to get seeds out and I felt so amazingly awesome after. After finishing obedience by Andrew Murray I've been praying in the early morning and reading after at least trying to more. I speak to him all the time and I feel my family thinks I'm going insane because I'll go all day speaking to him lol. It's gotten so natural to me that we have conversations all the time for long periods of time. I've been smiling more and just loving to my wife and rebuking the enemy a lot more and I believe he's going to lead me more. I don't know what he has for my wife but I trust him. Kinda like pilgrims progress after he walked then she did. All I know is that God is good all the time.
