within God and Jesus which one is more powerful
  • GiGi - In Reply on Psalms 70 - 2 years ago
    Dear Toyin,

There is absolute equality within the Godhead. All three Persons (Father, son, and Holy Spirit) possess the same essence (nature)

and are all 100% God. Therefore, the divine essence is not divided up between them. They all are infinitely and equally

powerful, omniscient, holy, and all qualities contained in this essence. They have a unified mind and will in that they all desire

and will the same perfect good and have perfect agreement of thought. There is nothing within the

Godhead that is at variance or contradictory, as they are together One LORD and of unchanging nature. They can never disagree

with one another, but are completely and perfectly harmonious.

The Godhead is eternal, therefore, all three Persons have always existed, having never come into being at any time. The

Godhead is self-existent having Life within Itself. They never acquired life, rather the God head is Life Itself.

How wonderful to discover more and more Who our God is and what He has done. How marvelous!

Hi dear Gigi, what are you saying here?

Godhead is self-existent having Life within Itself. They never acquired life, rather the God head is Life Itself.

Jesus certainly came in flesh and blood. Please explain correctly so no one thinks wrong in this!

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

John 6 and 7 chapter Stay blessed in His Holy Name Jesus, love u all in Christ.

    Hello, FREE

Yes Jesus was conceived in Mary as a human baby. The humanity of Jesus had a beginning, but the divinity of Jesus (God the Son) never had a beginning.

John 1:1-4 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was Go. He was in the beginning with God. all things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men." (NIV)

john 5:26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself." (NIV)

John 11:25 "I am the Resurrection and the Life." (NIV)

What I was saying was that The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all equally eternal, without beginning, and that Life is who they are which makes them self-existent, not having acquired life from anything outside of themselves. Jesus is eternally God the Son Who took upon Himself an additional nature to His divine nature, that is human nature. In Jesus is these two natures in one Person. His human nature had a beginning, but His divine nature existed eternally.

Thank you for asking for clarification.
