While the hierarchy of the church watched Him drag His cross, could they have questioned themselves saying have "we have made a mistake"?

The Roman soldier, can you hear Him saying, I hope He is almost dead when he arrives on this Hill! His conscience burning within Him as the thought that He must drive the nails that will hold this Holy One from the Cross!

Can you see Christ dragging his own cross, exhausted, bleeding out, with the dust that would cauterize His wounds.

Oh the thoughts of those who were under the command, those who would play the part that would haunt them for generations! Can you hear the centurion, as He says truly this is the Son of God?

The nation even today, who wish to silence these words. The nation who wish to comfort their souls believing they have done Gods will. Repent and be Baptized

Amazon Prime is showing THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST (by Mel Gibson) this month.

It is beyond brutal what was done to Jesus. The Roman soldiers looked demon possessed. I looked at a wall; the sound effects sound like real body blows. There was no area of sound flesh. I cried.

Jesus of Nazareth is free on YouTube (6 hours). It's the best movie for Easter I think.

There were multitudes of witnesses that day and the soldiers who took Jesus Christ up to Mount Calvary saw plenty. I imagine there had to be some that were saved that day. Despite the hardness of their heart -- some were there are witness' only and watching. What did that do to the hearts of many? It's an answer we won't know on this side of the grave but I imagine there were some. Rome was judged for sure though on a separate thought. Rome thought they'd be the immortal power to the world and they killed nearly all the apostles (minus John). Now look at them...in ruins. Just the catholic religion that stands but there's no empire, no power. Those who used to carry swords are out in the streets of Rome today selling tourist gifts. But the Blood of Christ has and WILL NEVER lose it's power.
