Hi everyone dear. Now a case is central. You can turn around and never touch what you "like so much" again. John 8:36 Like and take any miserable thought as temptation. 2 Corintihans 10:5 Place it somewhere you can not come and never bring it out again! : D I see hope in that. 1 John 5:13
For when we meet the Lord in our life, all things become new, the old is gone. John 3:7John 3:21 And remember it is the Lord who must draw us. John 6:44 We ourselves do not know anything. It is good that we can lean on Jesus, we must all do that.
So, the short answer is no, alcoholics nor drunkards don't deserve to enter the kingdom of heaven, nor does anyone else without Jesus, for all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God and sin is detestable to God: Romans 3:23.
But fortunately, Jesus died to pay for our sins and we have an opportunity to accept His gift and follow Him, which involves doing away with our old sinful ways and becoming new.
To me the question is not 'can I continue doing this sin I love and still go to heaven' but 'how can I follow Jesus and put my full faith and trust and life in Jesus'? God bless.
