    Psalm 139

    Part 2

God's eternity and infinity lead directly into His omniscience. He knows every cell in every living thing, every molecule, every atom. He knows every space in the universe, every planet, solar system, galaxy, star, sun and void of space. He knows every inch of the earth, it's atmosphere, all water, land, under the earth. All the aspects of our earth's core, mantle, etc. He knows entirely all that is involved in the expression of natural laws like gravity, speed of light, etc. He knows every heartbeat of every creature and knows when each heart begins to beat and when each heart ceases to beat any longer.

He knows all that will ever happen to me; all of my choices, thoughts, words, deeds even before I was conceived, He knew all of my future and what will be the final end for me (which will be redeemed, resurrected, glorified, and ever with Jesus) which will bring God glory, which is what He seeks in all of His determinations.

God knows all that is happening in our world now as well as all that will come in the future. He is guiding history to His end which was determined from the beginning of Creation.

He knows every cry, every prayer we will ever make to Him and His answers were willed before time, because He knew what I would need or ask of Him. This is very comforting to me. And it gives me courage, knowing if God is for me, who can stand against me in the end!

How thankful I am to know these things about Him. It drives me to adore Him. It gives me rest and peace in times of trouble. I can trust His wisdom and truth. I can believe that He is faithful and just without fear of being cast away. I can understand that He will never be caught off guard by the enemy, never be surprised by anything devised by the enemy or chosen by any creature. This makes me feel safe and secure. No wonder God has said so many times, "Fear not, for I am with you.!"

"O the depths of the riches of both the wisdom and knowledge of God!" Rom. 11:33 (NIV)

What a RICH, RICH study you have shared with all of us today, Gigi! I am not only blessed to read about the infinite-ness of our Great God, resulting in our deeper adoration and thanks and praise of Him --- but to witness the work of God's grace in your heart that produced such beautiful words to flow from your pen!

In these your thoughts on Psalm 139, I am reminded of Psalm 45:1, sensing that you and the writer there are activated by the same Spirit, Gigi...

"My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer." Surely your heart and pen have indicted a good matter, and you are a ready writer, and through it all, the Lord Whom you love has been glorified and honored, and we, His saints, edified!

You have been in my thoughts and prayers continually, dear sister; I hope you are recovering well, and that you fly through tomorrow's procedures like a bird on the wing! :)

    Love in Jesus,

    -Kay-

Thank you Kay. I am glad that what the Spirit has urged me to write is helpful and edifying to you today. For me, I really enjoy writing out my thoughts and I always want to be prayerful in doing so, because, although some of what I write is only for me and

God, it is usual for something written down is meant to share with another person.

Often times, as I "free" write, (such as on here) I really do not know all of the direction of what I will write, nor sense it will make in the re-read. I think these are instances where the Holy Spirit is guiding my words to be cohesive, understandable, and honoring of our wonderful God. What a blessing to be used this way!

The last week I have wanted to initiate a post, but prior to today, I did not know what topic to write on. I am glad I was patient and waited on the Lord, seeing as you have been uplifted. God knew all about this ahead of time! We can know today that God orders our steps when we walk in obedience and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

Be blessed today, in Jesus' name, our great and glorious Savior, God, and King.

It was very clear in the thread that you shared, Gigi, that those words were the 'meditations of your heart'. Though you were 'free' writing, I trust that every word was turned over in your heart many a time as you contemplated the glory of our God!

There are so many glorious attributes of the Lord! Sometimes I think that He is a great and glorious and precious Jewel, with many facets, and as we gaze at His beauty through the lens of Scripture, we are dazzled with the luster and beauty of every one of those facets!

Praise the Lord! He really is altogether lovely! Let us rejoice in Him always!

Prayers and blessings for a successful surgery tomorrow, and very speedy recovery!

Will you be home tomorrow when it's all done?

Kay, thank you for the encouraging words.

I will come home after the surgery and recovery time. It is same day surgery. My hubby is doing a good job caring for me.
