    was the Timothy that is in Acts 16 the same Timotjy that wrote the book of Timothy?

    Hello Ed.

    I believe that Paul is the author of 1 and 2 Timothy. Timothy is a leader Paul appointed to lead a church fellowship in Asia Minor. Paul addresses the letter to Timothy so Timothy can share it with the congregation. Paul and Timothy were very close in heart to one another.
