REPEATING QUESTIONS TO OTHERS - In Reply - 2 years ago
A Book by Author Dan Alice,
"A man is born as a child , grows to adulthood , and consequently enters old age , when he deteriorates and reverts to a childish state. (proverb)"
As we become older we may need someone else to make these decisions for us. This is the concept of "once an adult, twice a child." Same as children need parents or guardians, we may age into a period where we must be reliant on a caregiver.
BIBLE examples:
Psalms 62:11
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man [born again]. I put away childish things.
Job 40:5
Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
Job 33:14
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
Hi Velma ...Velma when we are bornagain. We birth a Spritual Child which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...As Jesus said unless you be converted and become as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...She brought forth a manchild that is gona rule all nations...Jesus is the bridegroom thus there is a Child in our future...Thats y the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in our hearts that we might birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...Thus we are twice a Child once in the flesh and once in the spirit as Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit which is the H.G. the Child of Promise.
.....Multiplication of Christ was that GREAT PROMISE...And God swore by his very self...Thats y the sower of that good seed wants to sow his precious Seed in our hearts...That it might form Christ in us via his seed...Thats y he has to know us....Thus there is a heavenly Child in our future...Thats y Jesus said unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...So we are gona be a Child a second time...As there is NO SALVATION outside of the new Birth via his seed THE Living WORD...That New Covenant..The book in the Fathers right hand that is sealed for now.
.....When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he said unto us a Child is born unto us a son is given...Which is the H.G. that Child of Promise....As the H.G is the Kingdom..
Zechariah 14:20 In that day (of the Lord) shall there be upon the bells of the horses ( Zechariah 10:3), HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the Lord's house shall be like the bowls before the alter.
Zechariah 14:21 Yea every pot in (new) Jerusalem and in Judah (from which the new priesthood sprang) shall be holiness unto the Lord of host: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day shall there be no more the CANAANITE in the house of the Lord of host.
The first Israel of God FAILED to destroy the Canaanites out of the land, the second ISRAEL OF GOD WILL NOT FAIL to destroy the Canaanites from the earth.
This idiom is not found in the Bible, nor can any particular verse be found to fit its intended meaning. From a quick research, I include the following, though remaining unverified:
"This is an American idiom about retrogenesis - the theory or observation that a person is born as a child, grows to adulthood, and reverts to a childish or child-like state in old age. The idiom was first recorded in 1889 in Hosea Ballou: A Marvellous Life-story, by Oscar F."

The first Israel of God FAILED to destroy the Canaanites out of the land, the second ISRAEL OF GOD WILL NOT FAIL to destroy the Canaanites from the earth.
And GOD WILL BE ALL IN ALL!
God Bless You!
