Thinking a little about Elijah's comment got me thinking of a brother in Christ whom passed away around 20 years ago. I like to quote him some now and again. Here is a quote he once wrote: "...it was the redemptive work of Christ on this earth that accomplished the fall, defeat, and binding of Satan. Christ entered the strong man's house (this world), bound the strongman

(Satan), and spoiled his goods (opened the prison and set free the captives of sin)."

"He still has a realm of influence- this world. But a boundary has been set on his power, to the extent that any human being is able to flee and escape the domination..." I myself call this escape path the providence of God on earth. "...of sin and Satan, if they so desire, through the work of Jesus Christ. It is impossible for the devil to penetrate the kingdom of God, so he is impotent to reclaim those who have escaped his realm. His voice is yet active. Ne can stand at the boundary of God's kingdom, which he cannot cross, and hurl his voice after the saints."

"The Book of Revelation is predominately a revelation of the work of Christ in His kingdom as it exists on earth causing it to come in constant conflict with the dominion of Satan"

Hope you all are faring well this day.

    :)

Faring very well brother Carleton - all the better now, having your presence here again with us.

Fine words from that dear departed brother. Of course, I immediately thought of Job & the limits that God had set upon Satan, that he could not test Job any further than permitted. If that is the case for each person, yet blindness comes to so many from him concerning Kingdom Truths, how privileged we are as believers who have a second Sentinel in the Holy Spirit to watch over our hearts, giving us all the necessary armour to withstand the enemy's thrusts. We really have no excuse when we fall for his trickery & deceptions.

Good to hear directly from my brother Chris! I am still only a want a be on staying consistent here. Surely if God wills I can put more thought with you all. Time with health issues , the family home and business and my local brothers/sisters in Christ keep me busy. Not surprised :) ,you have more thoughts! I very much support your encouragements and choice of words. The book of Job is enlightening. Stay the course.

We may be getting some of our last rains here in No California for the long stretch of dry. We are currently 4" of rainfall ahead of last year and our nearest reservoir is up by 30 feet from this time last year with more snow up high to melt yet! Clean beautiful God made skies this evening. We can see clearly the outlines of many foothills of the western mountains 45 miles across the Sacramento Valley from our home.

    Thank you!
