GiGi have have no fear and do not rely on what you see down here only with what is happening in Heaven above. We serve a God that makes the impossible possible. Remember what Christ Jesus said with man this is impossible but with Christ Jesus All things are possible!!!! I have hope in my heart for you overflowing!!!
She is showing improvement, but still seriously ill. Having IV antibiotics but still showing bacteria in her blood. God's hand is on her and I trust He will keep her.
I am spending today in the hospital with her and my oldest sister.
Thank you Suze. She is improving on antibiotics, but will be in hospital on IV antibiotics for at least 2 weeks.
Today is my shift at the hospital with her. My oldest sis is her. She is one of two power of attorney's. My 2nd oldest sister is the other. Both of them have been with her since Friday night. So now that she is not so critical, we will have one Power of Atto0rny person and one other sibling per day, rotating. I have 9 sibs. So hopefully this rotation will allow all of us to spend time with her and no one is stuck with being here all the time and getting over-exhausted and under nourished while we look after her.
Yes she is. It was really a blessing to be able to be at the hospital with her and my sister yesterday. We are taking turns being her daily visitors so that all 10 of us can have a chance to be with her over the next two weeks. Praying that she continues to improve rather than have a down turn. Sepsis is very, very serious and often deadly. So we are praying for her recovery, but are ready if God takes her home. She is ready for that. So we are leaving her in God's hands as to the outcome. We just want to be sure each of us can have time with her without everyone being there. (which cannot happen at this time anyway-only two visitors per day)
Thank you for your prayers. How is your Mom doing?
Dear Heavenly Father, Please help Gigi's momma to recover. Heal her body of sepsis and whatever else she is dealing with. I know that You're able. Let the antibiotic treatment work. Or just speak a word and it will be gone. Let this be a time of healing and feeling the Holy Spirit. Surround her with Your love and Angels. Set up a hedge of protection around her. And if she's not a believer I pray for her salvation. In Jesus name, Amen. So be it. I thank You Heavenly Father for caring and being compassionate. You never leave us or forsake us. Your mercies are new every morning. Hallelujah.
She is responding well to antibiotics but still has heart arrythmia, low oxygen levels, some fluid in her lungs. But the good news is that her fever has come down from 105 to normal. Her blood pressure has normalized. Her alertness has improved, as the fever made her delirious and incoherent and unable to communicate. She can now eat and talk. She is understanding more of what is going on, as she did not remember much for quite a while.
She is not out of the woods yet, and will be in the hospital for at least 7 more days. I have 9 siblings, so we will have a family meeting today to discuss her situation and care needs so we can support her and one another in the best way.
I'm praying for your momma again tonight AND I believe it's already done. Also praying for YOU your family. The Lord IS with you. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all you think or ask. You know that. But sometimes we all need to be reminded. Love and prayers .in Jesus name.
She is improving little by little, but is still showing infection in the blood. We are thankful that she is now alert and cognizant. Very ill. But we can care for her and talk with her well now. I am at the hospital all day today with my oldest sister.
She is hanging in there, but still critical. She wants to die and be in heaven. We understand that and will not have the medical staff employ heroic measures to resuscitate her if it comes to that. But she continues to be stable, but very ill.
My mama always says to die is to be present with the Lord and I say the dead in Christ shall rise first and they which are alive and remain will be caught up together with Him in the air.
But if she sees Him before I do either here or there, please ask her to kiss his precious feet for me and tell Him I love Him! I want to see Him face to face so I can fall down and worship him with thanksgiving. I would say with tears but there would be no tears in Heaven.
GiGi, I'm so sorry! If she really wants to go and she's saved then I certainly cannot stop her, nor would I want to. I have been deathly septic twice. God brought me back from the very brink of death. I didn't even have the strength to pray. I couldn't have told you my name. But He brought me back. If it's a matter of healing I know He's able. Gods will be donein Jesus name! Much love and prayer to you and yours in this difficult time. If she does go home, please ask her to kiss the feet of Jesus for me and tell him I love him.
Asking for prayer for my Mom. She is 88 and was taken by Medics to hospital last night. Doctors say she has sepsis, which is very serious. Thank you.
