Replacement theology in short denies the Spiritual deity of events that have come and are to come. It's the disdain for the Spiritual Jewish heritage in the Bible. To the longwinded posts I've seen here which to me only say to me how close we are to the end times that anyone could believe this.
2 Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ
This is the King James Bible Online...why are there groups here that feel like this is a platform for promoting apostasy. This is shameful.
What does replacement theology hope to accomplish (why so many through history have believed it so strongly; they made it foundational doctrines of their religion (not Christianity):
- They believe God revoked His promises to Israel because they rejected Jesus the Messiah
- They believe the Jews are no longer God's chosen people (which is why they deny the rapture, tribulation and often the 2nd coming stating they've already happened and were metaphorical)
- They believe God has no future plans for Israel
- Deep down, they blame all Jews (past and present) for the death of Jesus the Messiah
Now, I call apostasy on anything Messianic as it goes against the New Covenant of Christ. But replacement theology is a dangerous doctrine and doesn't belong on this site or anywhere. Some very terrible events in history were led by those who used replacement theology as reason to kill Jews.
Back to what I said in the beginning; if you stick to the fundamental basic Truth of the Gospel in the King James Bible...you won't be erred in doctrine. Christ made His Gospel understandable to children but I can just imagine new Christians reading this and feeling like they were cheated. God hasn't cheated anyone. Man has with these heretical doctrines.
Daniel, so much good thoughts in your posts. Perhaps there are those who use this forum to promote heresy and apostasy because:
1. They truly believe their views
2. God brings them here to speak so we can study to show ourselves approved, etc. rightly dividing the word of God. These erroneous and dangerous ideas challenge us to clarify our own thinking according to the word and deepens our understanding of spiritual truth
3. God allows these ideas to come forth so that we then reply back with actual Scriptural truth which will then be used by the Holy Spirit to strengthen the faith of others who hear the actual truth spoken.
4. It causes us to pray about these ideas and for those who speak them on this forum.
But I do wish that no false teachings we posted here.
It's so confusing for believers today to find the simple truths of the Bible such as: Salvation, eternal security, eternal life after death, the Bible as the Living Word of God (not a book of metaphors as some believe) and the great commission. I keep things simple because I started in the Catholic church very involved for nearly 2 decades, many years in religion and agnosticism. Religions complicated things and although I believed in a god then; I didn't know the God of the Bible because no one took the time to show me the simple Gospel of Salvation.
When I got saved, it seems like there weren't various differing opinions amongst fundamental ministries. But in 11-years...I just can't believe the change. I blacklisted social media and other medium where diverse doctrines are preached (YouTube is another place teething with apostate preachers). I believe the most fundamental truths of the Bible can be understood by anyone will to read the KJV and believe.
Thank you for sharing this with us. I found it to be very good reading. Something I wanted to share, and I don't mean to throw a twist of any sort in what's been said by all here, but I find it very interesting that back in Genesis Chapter 12, when Abraham received the promise of God in Genesis 12:3, "I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee, and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed," it is interesting that when he received that promise, he wasn't Jewish. He was a Gentile. He was called out of the Ur of the Chaldees. He came into Canaan, and he's still Gentile!
Just thought I'd throw that out there, no particular reason, just something I find interesting!
Yes, Abraham was a Gentile, a Shemite (Semite), a descendant of Eber (Hebrew). Not all Hebrews are descended from Abraham, nor Israelites, as Eber had other children who did not descend down to Abraham. Ishmael and Esau are Hebrews and Semites, also. But Isaac was the son of promise, and Jacob was chosen as the son of promise. So, the promises of Abraham was passed down to Isaac and then to Jacob, and then to the twelve tribes that came from his twelve sons.
God called out a Gentile and made a unconditional covenant with him and confirmed it with a Son. The Child of promise. And we're children of the same promise.
It has nothing to do with Israel or any other people inability to keep the law. So why would God void his Promises to Israel and give those promises to another gathered people who cannot keep the law.
See Galatians 3:17-18.
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.
Here is what's being challenged.
Hebrews 6:13-19. Touching this unconditional covenant I believe you see it performed in a unconditional manner in Genesis 15. when God put Abraham to sleep and performed it by himself.
We are joint heirs in that promise.
" Galatians 4:28."
Some lay it on Israel to initiate Gods promise or it will be taken away is in the same group that says you can loose your salvation.
So the Church has not taken over the promises to Israel,
The Church also is not spiritual Israel. And the Church is not the Israel of God.
God fulfilled his promises of the first coming of Christ and he will fulfill the many promises of Christ second coming and set up His literal Millennium kingdom here on Earth.
As we know there is heresies formed around this topic that depicts God as one unable to fulfill his promises.
God displayed his faithfulness with this rebellious Nation. You can see Jacob in all of us.
The story of Israel is about God's faithfulness not their failures.
He carries them on eagles wings the same way he Sheppards his Church with his staff.
It would do well for one to know the nature of sheep, and if you are his sheep you will see you parallel with Jacob so as Paul said be not high minded.
Romans 11:20-21.
If the first fruit be Holy so is the lump.
For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Romans 11:16-17.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Romans 11:25-26.
THE OUTLINE IS SEEN HERE:
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
I will always remember Jesus 1 st message to the Jews..Saying there were many lepers in Israel at the time of Elisha the prophet but unto none of them was Elisha sent but unto Naaman a Syrian a leper ..Which shows us that God is no respector of Persons...As God so loved the world that he gave us his only beloveth son...That whosoever believeth in him will have Eternal life...Always remember that Abraham was a Syrian...Duet 26 : 5... But not only was he the Father of the uncircumcision he was the Father of the circumcision also...Jew and Gentile alike...Remember the woman at the well said our father Issac gave us the well and she was a Samaritian a Gentile but Jesus preached salvation the Gift of God to this Woman..A Samaritian...On that great day of the feast Jesus stood up and cried if any man thirst let him come unto ME and drink..And John said this speak he of the Spirit for the H.G was yet given b/c that Christ was not yet GLORIFIED..So God is no respector of persons...But under the new covenant its the H.G. that is the super star...The apply of his eye...The Israel of God...Which are the Children of PROMISE...That God Promised was gonna be as the stars of heaven in multitude...The Israel of GOD...And they are gona be born in us via the good seed of Christ...Its only them that are the Children of Promise..That are contents of the book the LIVING WORDS The Children of Promise..His name sakes...The Gransons...simply b/c Jesus is their father...When Isaiah saw the kingdom coming in Isaiah 9 : 6 kjv..Isaiah refers to Jesus as everlasting FATHER..Simply b/c his Children are everlasting spirits. Thus Christ is truly the Father of the H.G...Simply b/c Isaiah said he wd see his seed which are the babes and suckling Jesus mentions..The bridegroom's children..That good seed..Whosoever receiveth one such child in my name...In MY NAME implied he is the Father of the Child..the H.G..That Child of promise the Israel of God...Jesus is not impotent he has a seed to SOW IN US.
Spencer you do greatly err all the lords disciples were Jews but they had to be bornagain of an incorruptible seed ...Even by the words of God...And this is replacement theology...Jesus was preaching replacement theology when he said you must be bornagain.
.....We all need a new heart and a new spirit which is replacement theology...GOD himself was preaching replacement theology when he said he was gonna give us a New Covenant and a new Heaven and a New earth ...Not according to the old covenant...From Gen. to Rev. its all replacement theology...And we are not the Children of God, Its only the H.G. that is the real Child of God the Children of Promise...We are just a joint heir with the H.G...As romans 9 : 8 tells us its only the Children of Promise that is counted for the GOOD SEED which is the H.G...We are just a joint heir...Its only the H.G that is born by Promise...our new innerman...Jesus was preaching replacement theology when he told Nic a Jew he wd have to be bornagain...
.... Romans 9 : 8 ...The Children of the flesh ( Natural Israel ) ..These are not the Children of God but the Children of PROMISE ARE COUNTED FOR THE GOOD SEED....Who are the Children of PROMISE ? ...The H.G....Spirits...As Jesus said that which is born of the spirt is spirit...Thats the H.G. the Israel of God...And this is replacement theology...The H.G. is our new heart and new spirit...Which is Christ in us the hope of Glory....I know that Paul said we as ISSAC are Children of Promise..But he was impling that b/c he had the H.G he was a Child of Promise...
....We were all born by the will of some man...Its only the H.G that Child of PROMISE that is born by the will of God in us...When Jesus said behold i send the Promise OF MY FATHER upon you that was baptism of the H.G. a heavenly birth of Christ in them the H.G. that Child of Promise...Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me ...Which is replacement theology...As the H.G. is our Replacement our new Innerman...GBU
I am glad you explained this. I have always believed that God's promises to Abraham are for all time. I believe that I should always want the best for all people, period. God has His reasons for setting Israel apart for Him for all time. I just trust His plan.
I find it amazing how so many have shaped their theology on God abandoning Israel as if Israel let God down in making his name great.
God richness in mercy and his faithfulness is on display in dealing with Israel as well as us.
It's amazing how some believe Gods promises to David " A kingdom here on earth where Jesus will sit on his throne " And the deliverance of Jacob has been voided because of their unbelief.
The heart of flesh wasn't to come under the law/ ministry of condemnation. 2 Corinthians 3:5-9.
They're misunderstanding God's order of events and Israels origin and purpose they feel the need to give God an excuse by saying those promises was given to the Church. Falsely claiming the church is spiritual Israel.
Listen to Paul here in Romans 11:26.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from "JACOB":
For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Who's Jacob? certainly not the Church. Especially when putting it in the context of the previous scriptures. Romans 11:1-25.
God isn't taken by surprise by any decision of man. His plan was determined before anything was created, and He is able to fulfill it with or without man's cooperation. Same is true of His covenant with Abraham. It was unconditional. So, not dependent upon anything man does or does not do. We should be careful not to diminish the our view of God's Sovereignty.
God made a place for Israel in His plan AND for His church. We should be glad for this, embrace it, and pray for Israelites all over the world, not just Jews, but members of all the tribes, since the covenant was for all of Israel, not just Judah.
God can't be taken by surprise, so when he swear by himself and confirms it by a oath he's not putting himself in jeopardy. He's going to perform it. He depends on himself not us.
His conditional promises is well recognized in scripture. You see some concerning Israel in Deuteronomy 28.. And this didn't take God by surprise the Messiah was ordained to come before the foundation of the world.
It also made me think of Romans. It's as you say. We all have a responsibility to find the right path. I thank my God for you all, every day. And in the heart it cries Abba Father!
Strike all injustice, injustice and hatred! It is not from Our Lord!
Stay Blessed all in Jesus name, love u in Christ. Mark 13
Words from the heart that ring true, Amen brother. The first thing Jesus said to the disciples when they asked Him about what He said about the temple being destroyed in Matthew 24 He said "Take heed that no man deceive you", Oh how we ignore what He said.
Anytime we study the Bible we need to keep in mind how our mind works, Satan knows. We function with our subconscious mind with little to no thought at all. Our mind is programed with traditions, teachings, and things we learn by what we see and do. They are imprinted in our minds, and when we read the Bible, this programing automatically pops in our mind and it is two steps ahead of what we are reading, seeing, or hearing.
If the new information is different from the imprint in our mind, we do not see or hear the difference because our subconscious mind blocks it. If we do not clear our mind with prayer and admit we know nothing, we cannot hear the Holy Spirit of truth, "He who have ears to hear let him hear".
What you bring up is just one part of what has been past on to the churches today. Truth is easy and simple but unless we are willing to accept it and study with a open heart and ears we will not find it.
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
The word heresy, I cringe because of the thousands of believers in Jesus have been killed in the name of that word. I will watch the Missler's video.
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
Jeremiah 16:14.
Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?
Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.
All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:
Amos 9:7-11.
The tabernacle of David didn't exist during Jesus ministry, It doesn't exist now but it will exist during the Millennium.
Brother Spencer, Please read Paul's epistle to Galatians. I am pointing out some verses:
Galatians 3:7 "Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham."
Who are Abraham's children. Verse 7 says those who are of faith are the ones, that is us the Christians
Galatians 3:26 and 29 " 26 - For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus./ 29 -And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Verses 26 and 29 say that if we are Jesus's children then we are Abraham's children as well.
Also read Romans 9:6-8 "6 -Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: /7 - Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called./8 - That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."
The above verses say that not all biological children of Abraham are his children, but only the children of promise. The children of promise is us, the Christians.
It is obvious that the children of faith/of promise, these are the true children of Abraham. Who are they? Christians are. Both gentiles and Jews that believe in Jesus Christ.
So the promises given from God to Abraham pass to his children who now in the NT is the Church.
I think Galatians 3:29 is a very powerful verse. Please pay special attention to that " AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE". I think it is very obvious then...
Are we as Issac children of promise? yes. These particular promises you are referring to in " Galatians 3:17." has nothing at all to do with " Replacement theology "
Here we are talking about promises to the NATION OF ISRAEL
All through the scripture God promised to restore "THE NATION OF ISRAEL." and set up a literal kingdom here on earth.
Concerning Romans 9:6-8.
vs 6, Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For "THEY are not all Israel, WHICH ARE "OF" ISRAEL:
This verse doesn't include us Gentiles at all. At this particular junction. Paul is making a distinction between the natural seed and the spiritual seed of the natural / Kinsman offspring.
There has always been an remnant. The distinction is to show the seed is not recond on birthright alone, if so the Ishmaelites would be included.
Key verse: Romans 9:3.
Are we Paul's
kinsman in the flesh? No.
John 10:16. says there is 2 sheep folds that will come together and become one.
Israel is one of these sheep folds.
These verses doesn't apply to us.
Romans 11:1-5.
Romans 11:25-26.
Romans 11:27.
Here in Romans 11:28-30. notice the distinction in the words like "they" and "their" that shows there's 2 distinctive groups.
"As concerning the gospel, "THEY" are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, "THEY" are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through "THEIR" unbelief:"
God will turn again to the NATION OF Israel.
Acts 15:14-17.
The context of my post is on a literal Kingdom here on earth and we are not the children/nation of Israel whom certain promises was given to.
Anybody whether he is an Arab, a Greek, a Jew, an American, a German, a Chinese, a Nigerian ...that believes in Jesus is a spiritual/ of promise/ of faith child of Abraham, that is the universal all time Church. The epistle to Galatians deals with that extensively.
Now about Israel in the final days apostole Paul deals with that in Romans 11:25-27. What he says there is that God will save Israel as a whole nation After, he says, all the nations complete their time. ( this also shows that the church will depart when that time is completed and then the time of Jews will start) When is that? During the week (7 years of the antichrist's rule on earth). (See also Daniel's prophesy about the weeks). There will be no time for a restoration of a somehow Israelitic empire. On the contrary the antichrist will be after them during the tribulation which they themselves wiil suffer big at that time and the whole thing will end up with the fight of Armageddon. Then comes the very end of this world as we know it. So what happened to that promise? My opinion ...(and i may be wrong) To understand that: Remember that Jesus said to all 12 apostoles, including Judas, that they will sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Did that come true for Judas? No, because Judas at the end walked another way. What is then happened to that promise given to Israel? It was gone as soon as they crucified Jesus and took some other way. God's promises are never unconditional, that is true for us christians as well. One has to stay in faith and obedience to get them. Other christians say those things were not literal but symbolic for the church. Either way there will be no another israelitic empire. God has prepared something a lot more important fot that nation. Eternal life.
Well dear Spencer although I have objections about those covenants made by God to Jewish people if they are still valid or not, I must say that you are right when you point out that there is an anti-Semitism silently creeping in the whole world and in some/many churches as well. There is also racism in some/many churches too.
Now as far as God's promises to the nation of Israel are concerned apart from the promise that He will gather them in their own land that was fulfilled in 1949, no other promise has been left apart from the one described by Paul in Romans 11:25-27 that is about the salvation of Israel as a whole nation at the very end. I can not see any other promise/covenant left for them to be fulfilled.
Now if we want to talk on a history basis there was also an anti-Semitism in the early church which was initiated by the fact that the persecutions that took place in those early times were often initiated by Jews in high political places. We see it in aThessalonika, Berea, Corinth and if you look it up in history books most of the persecutions that took place in the first 3 centuaries AD in Rome, the lions and the crosses and the fireworks and all those horrible things our early brothers suffered, were most often caused by Jewish people who hated Christianity. Christians suffered a lot during those times and their dislike for Jews is often clear in their writings. I don't try to justify anything but this is how things are ...
We're in agreement with the blessings of Abraham to all people by faith.
But we are in disagreement that the keeping of the law binds those promises. Galatians 3:17 says otherwise.
You mentioned Matthew 19:28.
Now quoting you concerning judas.
Your quote:
"Remember that Jesus said to all 12 apostoles, including Judas, that they will sit on thrones to judge the 12 tribes of Israel. Did that come true for Judas? No, because Judas at the end walked another way. What is then happened to that promise given to Israel? It was gone as soon as they crucified Jesus and took some other way. God's promises are never unconditional,"
End quote.
Judas didn't catch Jesus by surprise and he was prophesied to betray Jesus in the old testament. And early on in John 6:70.
Take a look at the verse you referred to.
"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have FOLLOWED ME, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel."
Several things here.
Jesus sitting on his throne doesn't depend on his disciples following him. If so it wouldn't be still expected after Christ was crucified, as seen here in Acts 15:14-17. and elsewhere in scripture after the crucifixion.
Jesus says That ye which have FOLLOWED ME. A desciple is one that follows one's teachings . Does that sound like Jesus?
When were they sent out with the power and influence of the Holyspirit? After Jesus resurrection and after the death of Judas. Paul was born out of due season. There's your twelve.
Concerning 1949. yes they're in the land but is Christ sitting on David's throne?
They won't behold him as a nation until they say blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord. And is the lion laying down with the Lamb? Is the devil chained a thousand years? None of the Millennium prophecies have been fulfilled. See Isaiah 65:19.
When Jesus called Judas he was one of the best 12 of His disciples chosen to be one of His closest disciples. He didn't choose him to become a betrayer, although He knew that, but He chose him to be one of the best. If we claim that Jesus chose him to become a betrayer, then He obviously set him a trap that Judas would never be able to escape from. How is that ever possible? Later on Judas walked another way, the way of iniquity. That, according to my opinion, is a lesson for us. If we are not careful and let satan work in us, we may follow another way, the way of eternal darkness, just like Judas did. Salvation can be lost, it is not secured untill we leave this life.
Remember Demas who abandoned Paul? 2 Timothy 4:10 "For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica;" What happened to him? Paul was very strict in choosing his accompanions, once he sent away Mark for not following him and Barnabas in their journey to Cyprus. Demas was one of his best mates. But at the end he abandoned him because he loved the world. Was he saved? If he didn't repent and go return to his intial way, well he wasn't.
Anyway thanks for listening to my very long posts.
DearSpencer, lets talk about God's promises to Abraham.
Lets go to Genesis. The verses that describe God's promises to Abraham are the following:
1. Genesis 12:1-3,
2. Genesis 12:7,
3. Genesis 13:14-17,
4. Genesis 15:5-7
5. Genesis 15:13-15,
6. Genesis 15:18-21,
7. Genesis 17:4-10,
8. Genesis 21:17-18
Now in most of them God gives His promises to Abraham and his seed. Who is this seed. the obvious answer is that it is his biological descedants. Paul in his epistle to Galatians 3:16 disagrees, he says "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.". So we can agree that all the promises given to Abraham and his seed pass to Jesus and His children, Which are they? The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and the 8th. Only one is left the first. You will argue that although Paul atributes those verses to Christ it is obvious that they are for Israel as well, the land covenant as you call it. You are right about that. But that promise that Cannan will be given to Israel by God wasn't fulfiled when Joshua and his descendants conquered that land? Yes it was. So what other promise/covenant given to Abraham is left to be fulfiled? I cannot see any other, correct me if I am wrong. GBU
I think that one promise that is yet to be fulfilled is the gathering of the Israelites from all nations back to Israel. I believe the promise says that God will gather them back. I understand that to be a sovereign work of God, not by man's initiative.
Dear GiGi, God oftens uses people to do a work for Him. In the OT God spread Israel away from their land using Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. Please read the last chapter of Cronicles
17 - Therefore he (God) brought upon them the king of the Chaldees (Nebuchadnezzar), who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
20 - And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
21 - To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
After 70 years God gathered them back using Cyrus king of Persia. Ezra 1:1-4
1 - Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, 2 - Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. 3 - Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem. 4 - And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
The same happened later on when God used the Romans to spread Israel around the world, and then in 1949 God He used the British to gather Israel back in their land.
Dear GiGi that happened in 1949. Jews were exiled from their own country since Romans destroyed Jerusalem (Jews revolted twice against the Roman rule). Solomon's Temple was destroyed too. The city was rebuilt but Jews were prohibited to enter the city untill the 7th centuary AD. In 1949 after WW2, that land was given by the British to Jews to re-enhabit it and the new country of Israel was formed and Jews from all over the world started to gather in their ancient land. At that time God's promise that He will gather them to their land was fulfiled.
Is there any other promise left for them to be fulfilled ?
In the NT Paul talks about his nation, what is going to happen in the last days. He doesn't say that a new country will be formed with Christ as their leader that will rule on the whole earth. But he says that all Israel will believe in Christ " after the fulness of gentiles be come in", Romans 11:25-27. After 'the fulness of gentiles be come in' means that no other gentile is left to be saved. When is that going to happen?
Lets go to Revelation
The 144000 saved at that time are the first Jews to be saved, Revelation 7:4-8. Then the rest of these people will be saved. Question. If salvation for Israel starts during antichrist's time, during the great tribulation (Its obvious that these things happen during tribulation because in the next verses 9-17 we read about the ones in Heaven that were slaughterd by antichrist) when is that time that Jesus with Israel rules on earth? Doesn't make sense, does it? In Revelation 12:1-6 we read about that woman that was sent by God to the dessert. Who is that? It is obvious it is Israel, see verse 1. Antichrist will go after Israel and God will protect them. There is nothing else left for Israel untill the fight of Armagedon. Is it that Jesus will rule on earth with Israel during the next 1000 years? No, Revelation 20:4-6 talks about those that didn't receive the mark and were slaughtered. End of time, nothing else left.

Well Spoken, There's many diverse heresies comes out of that belief!!
God bless.

Thank you and God bless.
I will have much more to say on this.
Romans 11:29-33.
More to come
God bless.
Jesus said ask of me and I will do it . He is at the right hand of the Father and been given all power and authority by The Father .
Im satisfied and so should anyone be . Jew or Gentile . Have a blessed day ...

I am glad you explained this. I have always believed that God's promises to Abraham are for all time. I believe that I should always want the best for all people, period. God has His reasons for setting Israel apart for Him for all time. I just trust His plan.
You're welcome.
God bless.
On Gods unconditional promises
God can't be taken by surprise, so when he swear by himself and confirms it by a oath he's not putting himself in jeopardy. He's going to perform it. He depends on himself not us.
His conditional promises is well recognized in scripture. You see some concerning Israel in Deuteronomy 28.. And this didn't take God by surprise the Messiah was ordained to come before the foundation of the world.
God bless.
Mark 13
Guess which that is ?
Remember Jesus came to his own and they received him not .
The NT is for Jew first and the rest of the world . John 3.16
Amazing how people miss simple truth .
God bless,
RLW
Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
God bless.
GBU
Are we heirs of the promise? Yes.
God bless.
GBU
God Bless You
Again thanks for your reply.
God bless.
Lets go to Judas now. (how I understand it...)
GBU
Sorry for such a delay in getting back to you.
I'm going to start another thread because this one seems to have been over ran.
See you on paige 1.
God bless.
It's 11pm here in the south east.
I just got your reply via email. I haven't had the chance to go over the material, I will read and return a reply perhaps tomorrow evening.
Good night and God bless.
GBU
