    what happened before God? If all things are created then who created him?

    Hi Dylan,

    God was never created. He is self-existent and eternal, never having a beginning. He needs nothing outside of Himself to exist or have life.

    This is hard for our finite, creaturely minds to truly understand. Nothing caused God to Be. He is I WILL BE WHO I WILL BE.

    Isaiah 45:9

    "Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?"
