I was reading my King James Version of 1st Chronicles 26:18 an came across the word "Par-bar" and could not find the definition for it. What does it mean?

according to Easton's Bible Dictionary, Parbar is a place apparently connected with the Temple. in 2 Kings 23:11 a space between the Temple wall and the wall of the court; an open portico into which the chambers of the official persons opened

    Barry,

I checked a few on-line bible dictionaries and the word Parbar refers to a suburb, so this would be a suburb of Jerusalem.

Strong's Concordance says Parbar was a suburb of Jerusalem.
