    The author(s) of 2nd Corinthians 4:11 assert:

"...we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake..."

They are judged by Jesus' words:

"...whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." John 11:26

    Hi John.

Here's the verse you mentioned in context. Picking it up from the previous verse. John 11:25-26. Jesus said unto her, I AM THE RESURRECTION, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

I believe the Lord is talking about the second death as seen here in Revelation.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Revelation 2:11.

    Also Revelation 20:6.

When we are born again we are Identified with Christ death. "Baptism. Romans 6:2-6.

    Christ is the first fruit.

"But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."

    1 Corinthians 15:20-23.

It means we won't face judgment.

    God bless.

Jesus is very clear about "spiritual death" and resurrection:

    "...He that heareth my word,

and believeth on him that sent me,

    hath everlasting life,

    and shall not come into condemnation;

but is passed from death unto life."

"...is passed from death unto life."

The author(s) of 1st John appear(s) to comprehend the theological concept:

"We know that we have passed from death unto life,

    because we love the brethren.

He that loveth not his brother abideth in death."

    1 John 3:14

    Hi John,

    Thanks for the great scripture!

"whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." Many Christians today believe in Jesus, but they conveniently overlook and or they ignore the "liveth part".

I'll say this again, it is the "liveth part" that many people ignore!

Very Important: Jesus is asking us not only to believe in Him, but to also live our lives accordingly. Meaning repenting, walking with the Spirit, and refraining from sin.

    God bless.

Never dying means never sinning (which is only possible with the Holy Ghost to guide us).

The wages of sin is "spiritual death".

    Hi John,

I agree that sin brings spiritual death, but back in Genesis, God said that they would surely die. This was both a spiritual and physical death that was not present before they sinned.

It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. ( Hebrews 9:27) This is referring to physical judgment, I believe.

Your assessment of Genesis is not correct.

"the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" Genesis 3:22

God forbid them to eat from the tree of life.

    Adam and Eve died a "spiritual death" in the day they ate the forbidden fruit;

and Adam did not experience "physical death" until he was around a thousand years old.
