Bible Discussion Thread

Much of my extended family hold decades-long grudges against each other... and many of them are Christians. Please pray that God will lead them to forgive each other, ask forgiveness where needed, and realize that we are all going to be offended one way or another by somebody. Thank you.

Dear Phyllis, It is like this in my family as well. My Mom just passed away 5/15 and we are going through all that is necessary to settle her estate and plan a memorial. I pray that my siblings that have held on to decades-long issues can learn to forgive and move past these. I will pray for your family tonight.

Heavenly Father, Phyllis desires peace in her family and godly resolution to these long-held grudges. My family needs the same. We ask that You will soften the hearts of those who keep these things in their heart against one another and bring them to a place of forgiveness, peace, and love that will overcome all of the discord, hurt, distrust, and backbiting that we have endured as families for so long.

Father, we need Your loving hand of discipline to reach us and change us to be more like Your Son, Jesus. We ask this of You,
