Crystal....In John 10 : 29 Jesus is speaking about his sheep, He said my Father that gave them me is GREATER THEN ALL and no man can pluck them out of my FATHERS HANDS....This scripture plainly tells us that we cannot be plucked out of the Fathers hands ..And its b/c of this scripture that i believe in...OSAS....I see this scripture answering to Romans 8 : 2...The spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death... Romans 8 : 2 kjv...K
Amen and Amen, Brother Alex: Your quote of God's word.
Romans 2:8 For the LAW (the living WORD) of the Spirit of LIFE IN (and of) CHRIST hath made ME (his body) free from the LAW (the written word) of sin and death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of SIN (the written Law) is DEATH, but the GIFT of God is eternal (living LAW) LIFE.
Amen! As this brother wrote, Salvation is eternal. God did not shed His Blood for us to be cleansed of sin and born again ( Ephesians 2:8-10) to "remove a finished work. However, eternal security isn't a sin licence. While God is just to forgive -- there are consequences to willfully sin while saved.
Yes, once saved, always saved. It is God who saves and once he has begun his work in you, he will complete it.
The other question which we need to ask is "Am I really saved?" since the Bible speaks of many who will be deluded about their salvation. Jesus will say to them on that day, "Depart from me, ye workers of iniquity." So the Bible calls us to constantly examine our faith, to make sure of our election and calling. Sometimes we have the "blessed assurance" that Jesus is ours but we have to always press on in this pilgirm journey till we cross River Jordan into the Promised Land.
Can u should me this in the bible?
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 12:32 "...but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."
Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
1 Peter 1:5 - "...salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."
James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."
God Bless YOU, his body.

First-century Christians expressed joy when they learned that fellow believers were enduring in their faith. ( 1 Thessalonians 1:2, 3; 3 John 3, 4)
Does it seem reasonable that the Bible would stress faithful endurance if those who did not endure would be saved anyway?
This page has some verses about salvation, but I recommend reading through the whole New Testament for more detail.
