Jesus, when you were in the Garden of Gethsemane you asked, if possible, that the cup be taken from you, but if it was God's will so be it. The world depended on you finishing that cup. But my cup, if I don't finish it, the world will be ok. This cup is more than I can chew, overwhelming, and counterproductive to my well being and spiritual growth. In fact, it's causing harm to my soul. It's too much and as a result I've fallen into dark places of depravity and failure. The test is more than I can handle. I am like a camel with a cracked spine and way too much weight on me and I'm broken and breaking further. Please remove this weight from me. Get me to Heaven, yes, but do it gently. If you keep this pressure up I'll surely crack for the worst. I don't want that. You don't want that. And the world will be ok if you lighten my load. And I will be ok if you do too. It might just save my soul. I need you to get this, God! I'm not exaggerating. Enough. And thankyou for hearing me. Truly hearing me. I need you to hear me.
O Jesus, give surety to your child that Your yoke is easier and burden lighter when You prop up people with supernatural power. When things may seem overburdened, Your word says that it will not exceed their tolerance. Because it is way less than the world which is indeed too much by oneself. Amen.
Dear Mike, no, you can't change the world as Christ did, but you never know whose life your walk with Christ will change. The Bible teaches us to be Christlike. He suffered more than you will ever suffer. Matthew 16:24 "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
God is still on the throne, nothing gets by Him, He knows your situation. Psalm 46:1 Our Father may put on us more than we can bear, but not more than He can carry for us. God will never put more on you than you and Him can carry, together. "God is our refuge and strength; a very present help in trouble."
The Apostle Paul suffered from a condition the Bible doesn't reveal.
Romans 12:7-10
7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Now i do not doubt what you write here, and it's sad that you feel that way. Wake up dear friend, roll up your shirt sleeves and strike back with the Word of God. Jesus says that He takes them, your burdens. And never ever believe that the Lord is forcing you to do something that has not been tried by yourself several times. Another thing to be encouraged by the burden! It says you need to learn something. Make sure the Lord never leaves you. Proclaim it when needed. And be happy with what you have, always. Luke 19:11-27
1 Corintihans 10:13 1 Peter 5:7 and my favorite is Joshua 1:5-9
Hebrew 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
We pray for you to find a solution, in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ be blessed in spirit, soul and body. ps. all thoughts is not from God. God words is. Jesus loves u and i loves u in Christ and all brothers and sisters in the Lord.
