Bible Discussion Thread

I'm a sinner and I don't know where to start to be a Christian, Does God forgive all sins of a sinner? I do believe in God and His Son Jesus but I feel so unworthy to pray, or even the correct way to pray. I was told that God doesn't hear the prayers of a sinner. I've been through several family losses 3 within 3 1/2 months of each other, the most recent was my only son. I'm low and broken right now, with a huge part of me missing. Yet I crave the knowledge to know more of Jesus, but my only comfort right now is knowing how God must have hurt when He willingly sent His only son to die. I feel hopeless.

Dear Donna: I am praying for you. I cannot begin to imagine the pain you must be feeling due to loss. God is faithful to help us through every worldly problem and trouble we have. Pray. He does hear you once you accept Him. Finding a church that teaches the Bible will help strengthen you through faith of other believers. They will pray for you too. God bless you. Read God's word. It is a "light unto our path and a lamp unto our feet".

I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your only son. How heartbreaking that must feel. To answer your questions, first you must give your heart & soul to the Lord. This website has a prayer for you - Link. Once you accept the Lord into your heart you become a righteous child of God's. He will gladly hear and answer your prayers, according to His will. It doesn't matter how you pray, just do it and draw closer to the Lord. Also, get yourself a bible and read God's word. Finally, get involved in a good church that teaches the Word. May the grace of God bless you in this time of sorrow.
