I am having a problem with the devil trying to put ideas in my head that God may not be real but I am a strong believer and always will be but I wish God would stop this for me. Everytime it happens I pray about it but it is still going on and I hate it and want it gone. Am I just crazy or does the devil do this to any of you all? Thank you very much.
We know some of Satan's names is Liar, Destroyer, Angel of light. Google that for a complete list. What you're experiencing is spiritual warfare against THE MIND. It doesn't want us to read the Bible.
Recently I was in a lot of back pain. I need surgery to fix it. I was hurting and then I just got really mad. I serve my Lord. I knew this was an attack!! I started quoting scripture to the room. I turned up my volume: GET OUT, GET OUT GET OUT IN JESUS NAME. Jesus baptized me and gave me HIS POWER AND AUTHORITY to speak in HIS NAME. I said, in Jesus of Nazareth name I bind this evil spirit that lies_and I send it into outer darkness to wander in dry places! "I receive the power of the Holy Spirit of God to come and heal my back." BAM. The pain left. I feel better.
As Christians, Jesus gives us His Authority to speak in His Name and send the devils into outer darkness and dry places and tell them stay there until the Last Day.
Many of us suffer needlessly because we feel like we're speaking to an empty room. Not so! They're invisible, but we FEEL THEIR FRUITS.
Re-read the Gospels and underline how Jesus cast the devils out. (Paul's writings too)
If your mind is racing, that is a fruit. Pray as I did and call it out: you evil spirit of racing mind!! The Bible says I have the Mind of Christ. His mind is Perfect and so is mine. GET OUT OF MY HEAD AND MY HOME
in the Name of Jesus and by the power of His authority. I command you to LEAVE and NEVER RETURN. Go into outer darkness and dry places.
Jesus wants us to be His children and fight these things when necessary. Use His Word, the Bible. His Armor, all of them. Google that if you need to: Armor of God, teaching. Come back here to fellowship, ok?

Hi Butch , at some point on our lives I think most of us have had our doubts , often they come into our head when we are feeling a bit stressed or insecure or vulnerable . Please don't get too worried about it , you know the Truth so you have nothing to fear , when this world starts to fray my nerves a bit , that's when I read my Bible a bit more often than normal , say a few more prayers than usual and try to make a bit more time to be alone with my Heavenly Father . Also , try to think if there is something going on around you that might be making you feel a bit irritated or vulnerable . Be not soon shaken Butch , God loves you very much .
