    Amen to you Hugh. Acts 2 :38 is the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the new testament salvation message. Peter said: "Repent & be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins & ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost". It was first to the jews but also to the gentiles. "For the promise is into you, & to your children, & to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call". Keep reading the book of Acts. The church was born on the day of Pentecost.
