    You've been given the truth in scriptures. I turned 71 a few days ago. Life is long. We live well beyond the mistakes and the memories of sins we committed, right in Gods face. HE IS LOVE. He's not a mean looking, disapproving, old crusty, buzz kill on what people are experimenting with now.

    He looks away, until you come to the end of those days in your life. He gives us time to repent and be disgusted with what that lifestyle offered. People say they love you today; but they walk out of our lives in the end. Years pass, and the memory of them just makes you angry, or you grieve__for years.

    Life is always in motion. Moving rapidly towards my age, and beyond. The memories of sin, always stings; hurts.

    Gods has/had plans for us. Plans for good things, pleasant memories. This world is advancing rapidly to the end of it. We see it on tv and in media, with our own eyes. Choose Jesus's Way now.

    You may lose some friends; but you will gain so much more. "WAY" is one of His names. The WAY-the Truth-the LIFE. He gives you all you will ever need if you will trust Him?

    The Bible has a verse somewhere about us returning to our own vomit, to eat of it again. Sounds really gross to me. We do that (I did), until we figure out it's unpleasant and gross. No one and no thing is with doing that for

    Jesus offers us blessings, peace, and recreates our life if we ASK Him to. Our hearts know the right way to go. Will we choose that? I'm not going to give 30 scriptures of condemnation. Most of us know when we are skating on the edge of disaster.

    If you pursue God with all of your strength, you will arrive at forgiveness__and all of the Love your heart ever dreamed of finding. Stay on course & don't allow Satan opportunities to destroy your life. He hates us.

    Jesus does love you. Take His hand and don't look backwards. He is Alive. Ask Him into the throne room of your heart. Worship him.

    I am to be loving, because God so loved me first. I can do all of these through the power of the Holy Spirit at work in me to conform me to His image. Do I fail at times, yes. But as I age, I can know that I am not the same person I was 50 years ago, 30 years, 5 years, or even a week ago. I am every changing in a good way. I am sure that is true of you, Mishael. Happy 71! May you have blessing upon blessing each day you live with us here in this life.

    Well Mishael,

    I hope your birthday was a good one. I am 6 years younger. We are getting closer and closer to living out the last of the days God has appointed for us to live (even before we even lived one). I agree, when I recall the sins of my past I cringe, too. I hate these things I did and the way i tried to justify them. But I also remember that all of these sins are forgiven and cast into the sea. Satan wants us to still feel guilty about past sins, but we are not guilty! Praise the Lord. But when we do remember sins, we should agree with God that they are wrong and hate them as He hates sin.

    We are getting older, hopefully wiser. We have more time to think deeply about matters and develop a mindset that aligns with the Lord's mind and will. We have people in our lives that may be gone tomorrow, so I try use the opportunities I have with them to help them in their journey towards eternity. We witness by what we say, do, and don't do. Our countenance shows the joy and peace of God and the calmness that comes from being assured of our acceptance with God. Our mannerisms show whether we too busy to stop and be helpful to someone or just keep going an overlook others.

    I hope to look out for the interests of others and not just my own. I am to think well of others and not too highly of myself. I am to be patient and generous with others, whether time or sharing what I have. I am to be self-controlled so that I exemplify the character of Jesus and not give anyone a reason to doubt that believing in Jesus is the best way or see me as being hypocritical. I am to be abound in doing good and turn from doing evil. I am to be kind and willing to ease another's burdens. I am to be longsuffering, accepting what causes me to suffer with the knowledge that God is using it for my good. I am to be faithful to my words to others, keeping my commitments, being true to my words. I am to walk in faithfulness to God and His ways. I am to be gentle in my demeanor, not harsh-

    Thank you Old Man Wilson , I'm guessing you are a fab dad , mine was a horror ! But he taught me a lot about people , he didn't even make it to 60 . Enjoy your family and I'm looking forward to meeting you in Our Father's Kingdom . He's the only Father we need , much love in Christ .

    Thanks Gigi , I had a quiet one which is good , I hope you and all yours are ok , my mom and step dad are ok , he will be 75 towards the end of August , we are all hoping that he will still be with us so we can celebrate with him . He has pulmonary fibrosis and heart failure , his feet are the size of a large loaf of bread , the three of us have good senses of humour so we are all trying to make each other laugh as much as possible . They are both lapsed catholics and alcoholics , it can be an amusing combination smiley face . Stay strong in the Lord , much love in Christ .

    Suze, I pray that your step-dad does make it to his 75th birthday party. I know so well what lapsed Catholics are like. And with alcoholism on top of that, whew! I pray that each of them will repent and call on Jesus to save them soon. I pray that they will be delivered from alcoholism soon.. I pray that you will be strengthened in your daily care for them. I pray that when it is their times to go, it will be peaceful and not filled with suffering. I remember you said that you don't expect them to live very much longer. This is their time of greatest need and vulnerability. I am thankful you have made peace with your past with your mom and dad and that you can now serve her and her husband in these last months. Blessings to you today and always.

    I have a friend who because he says Jesus didn't forthright talk about homosexuality that it's ok. I myself am a baby in Christ and don't know how to answer

    Roman's chapter 1 should answer your questions.

    Also, Sodom and Gomorrah were actually melted with liquid sulphur balls. I saw an archaeologist showing on video above the area where those cities existed. No bones were found I think. They found more of the balls underwater too.

    It must've been like a Bowl of liquid sulfur emptied on the ciities. It's a great discovery because no one had been able to pinpoint it on aerial maps. I hope it's on Google soon.

    I mention this because we can be pretty sure of God's view of cities full of homosexuality and lesbianism. (sorry Ellen). It is what it is. And it's clear in Romans 1.

    As a Streetpreacher I've heard all the arguments. When Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colors, I cried. He made our nation's Capital a joke to snicker over.

    I don't argue with them. It starts riots.

    I love my Country and I honor every soldier that fought and died for this nation!! They deserve more than they got. Please let us reverence our military.

    It's legal to change your party affiliation as often as you want. The House, Senate and Congress counts CONSTITUENTS ever morning over coffee. Well, we are the constituents! We're registered on one side, or the other. We need to "clean" house. They stomp on our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and salute the Flag?!

    They've taken our oil reserves and gave it to China this week! Every week they give billions to Overseas countries. They haven't done a thing about our infrastructures. They've hijacked our baby food and formula and give it free to millions of illegal immigrants. I live in Texas and it is horrible to see this every day.

    We pay triple at the grocery and gas stations. While the Congress gets FREE LUNCH, every day on taxpayer money. Again-Reregister and vote against this madness.

    They just want our votes and step over us to get what they want. It's too expensive to ignore anymore.

    That sounds like an excuse to establish biblical support for homosexuality. Jesus did not speak of abortion or same-sex marriage either. But Jesus did reveal God's creation & plan for all humanity and this He did in Matthew 19:4-6: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."

    The understanding was clear to the Pharisees who wanted to test Jesus on the matter of divorce. And it should be clear to us also that God's creation of mankind was male & female & that at the appropriate time they would leave home & begin a new family (a male husband & female wife) with children following. And this union was so special that they would be regarded as 'one flesh' (separate in body, but united together in love, commitment, purpose, & spirit, that no one should pull apart). It was never in creation, that those of the same sex should join together as was intended for man & woman. If such folk are inclined towards each other, they should know that such a pursuit only leads to sin which is then compounded. Rather, they must turn away, suffer loneliness, seek after God's help & healing, just as a sinner with a lust for theft, adultery or substance abuse must also do. Our sinful needs or desires don't alter God's righteous Plan for us & doesn't cause Him to overlook our sins.

    The Bible clearly says its wrong in a number of places. The Bible is God's Word and it's in writing, so there's no question about what God thinks about it. Is the person's goal to follow God or the world? You can't do both.

    The spoken thing by Jesus is just a tactic to zero in on someone uttered precise words and if not then [insert false assumption]. I don't think many people genuinely fall for those tactics. Surely somewhere is a person's heart they know they are lying to themselves.

    Someone could use that same tactic to fake-justify almost any sin they desire. "Jesus didn't say anything about the internet, therefore it's ok that I ____ online." or "God the Father didn't say the exact words of ___, therefore, it must be ok that I _____".

    You don't need to be a scholar to lovingly share the truth and refute a lie. Just flip to those parts in the Bible about homosexuality. If you search that word you will find lists of verses about it. God bless.

    What was said In the old testament about sin applies applies to us today and forever. God is Holy forever.

    Romans 1:18-32 "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;"

    Galatians 5:16-26 "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would."

    Is your question on being gay? I Cor 6:9-10 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

    10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

    Paul is warning us here, that people who PRACTICE such lifestyles will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.
