Bible Discussion Thread

I need forgiveness and healing from my past. Unresolved stuff. And physically. Please pray it is NOT cancer and for traveling mercies. I'm flying (anxiety, flying) home for medical tests tomorrow. Need peace that passes all understanding. Thank you all for your love and support this last year or two.

Father, cover her with Your tender mercies. Bring wholeness to her mind, body, soul, and heart. Remove the pain and disturbing memory from her of these events.

Father, I also ask that you keep her from cancer. That you eliminate anything in her body that would lead to cancer. I ask that you calm her heart and fill her with enormous trust in You. Remind her that she is Your child and cause her to be overwhelmed with your Fatherly love.

ASking this of You, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. Amen

GiGi, Thank you for praying for me. As we know believers are definitely not immune to all kinds of attacks from the enemies camp. But the Lord is greater. And I thank God for this place of prayer. As you know, I haven't had a church home for years. I recently started attending a church. I live in small town USA with all its drama. Pray that this church would be different. I have a burden to reach those who may not feel welcome anywhere else but are truly repentant.

Dear Donna,

I will encourage you to ask God to strengthen your faith to believe without a doubt that He has forgiven all of your sins already as a believer. You stand before Him forgiven and righteous in Jesus. Sometimes we remember the sins of our past and are ashamed and feel guilty. We may be upset that we even could have done what we did. We may beat ourselves up for being so rotten. But remember that Satan is the accuser of the brethren. He wants to keep us in bondage to our past sins. He likes to remind us of all the things we did that were against God and others. He wants us to be stuck in our shame. But we can resist him and he will flee from us.

On the other hand, we also can be reminded of our past sins that we once didn't think were so bad, or that at the time, we loved doing that which was wrong. Now, when we remember, we are repentant, we hate our sins of the past, we wish we had never done those things. This is godly sorrow and is helpful in showing us how we are acquiring the mind of Christ and view sin more like God does. But we should not let condemnation overcome us. We should confess to God that what we did was sinful and ask for forgiveness. We can be assured that He is faithful and just to forgive us AND cleans us. Those sins do not have any claim on us anymore. We are free from them!

If you are speaking of sinful things done to you in your past and the ongoing damage it brought to you, then seeking to forgive these sins of others is always good and healing in itself. Pray to God for Him to help you forgive and keep you from sinning in the process of forgiving and remembering the hurt and harm. Also, Ask God to help you truly love those who sinned against you and ask how to pray for them.

I will pray for you tonight.

Heavenly Father, Donna is burdened with past sins and hurts. Please bring peace and assurance to her that You are the One who restores us, heals us, and sets things aright that were meant to harm us. .....

Dear Donna, I pray that God gives you safe, anxiety-free travels and that your test comes back negative for cancer. Donna, if you are a born-again Christian, your sins are forgiven; ask Him to forgive you each time you have sinned, and for the sins you've forgotten and the ones you aren't aware of committing--and move on in the joy of 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Dearest Donna, Let me be the first to say..."You Are Forgiven" and as for the healing well, that depends on how fast you can let go of the past and move on. Jesus took all our sins when He died on the cross and as soon as we believe that, thank Him and except Him in our hearts, we can begin to heal in life. It took me yrs. I'm so grateful I finally let go. Our physical body may be in disarray but if we allow Him in our spiritual body will heal more and more, it gets easier and easier. "Heavenly Father I thank you for your son Jesus! Lord I ask that you keep Donna's mind strong and her will to heal even stronger Lord. Let her know your with her always and all she needs to do is pray with all her heart for healing and your will be done. Lord I ask that you find a way to cover her travel expenses and free her anxiety that life brings in at times. Heavenly Father please get her through through the test she is having and keep an Angel by her side comforting her till she is home safely. Lord we know YOU are the peace that passes all understanding knowing all, things the Doctors don't even know. You and only you Lord can get her through this please send a legend of Angels. BELIEVE AND RECEIVE Gods healing for you Donna, I ask these things in Jesus precious name Amen.!

Thank you Texsis, I'm home safe. I KNOW the Lord helped me. I do praise Him. I would actually fly again willingly. And that is not something I ever thought I would say. That's how I know the Lord was with me, thank you for your prayers! Thank you for your encouragement and wise counsel as well. I don't know what lies ahead but I know that the Lord is my Shepherd and the enemy is gonna have to back up. In Jesus name. Thank you all that are praying for me.
