That; in my opinion is an excellent question. I can't remember the last time if ever that I heard it. Usually; there is a pretty common theme as to general blessings; and for them to deliver a sermon effectively. There are a couple things that stand out as blind spots
1) Pastors rarely; from my experience ever ask or certainly not EARNESTLY desire prayer. They don't like to admit struggles or sins; or share personal issues like the rest of the lay persons tend to do.
2) Related to this; they only have elders who are supposed to be as iron sharpening iron; and also giving guidance if certain parameters in their wisdom are in question if a statement seems out of line to scripture. Reformed churches seem to have a better handle on this than others; from my observations.
3) Related to the first two; Pastors need to be open to suggestions; even rebuke if necessary from others (as done in a respectful manner). We can see an example of this with Paul and Peter when he had to be openly rebuked because of double standards in behavior with Jews going back to unnecessary things in the law.
If these issues are not a major problem then I'd say you are better than many congregations. Another related issue is if pastors don't recognize that others with different giftings may themselves be an answer to prayer. A trust must be established with others in the Body; and part of that is trusting God to work with whoever He wills to accomplish His purposes.
These things need to be healthy and in order to be able to facilitate praying for the Spirit to work powerfully through a convicting message. The truth must be preached in love; one without the other is compromising. If He is preaching correctly then you can expect results; and pray for protection as all who are godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. You can pray for direction; whether to do preaching through a Book in scripture; and for any supplemental study chosen. And to overcome temptation.
