What prayer do I say when I feel evil spirits around me or making me scared?

    Memorize Psalm 91.

Romans 8/15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

    Philippians 2:10-11: King James Bible:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven,

and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue

should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    Hi Jan,

I don't believe a specific pre-scripted prayer is necessarily the answer. Cry out to the Lord and look up His promises in His word (for example all the promises He has made to deliver those who call on His name or those He made to protect and so on.) Pray based on these promises. I believe the Father loves when we pray in accordance with His word. Not in a name-it-claim-it type of way but rather expressing our faith in what He said He would do. You can also ask the Father to send you angels to defend you based on His promises (e.g. Ps 91, 34, Hebrews etc.). Also based on James 1:5 pray for wisdom on how to specifically pray and guidance on where perhaps repentance is needed. Just a few thoughts..

Dear Jan, I found this protective prayer for you which says it better than I can: "God, I pray for protection from the evil spirit of fear. I pray you would give me the strength to cling to you and your truth because I know that fear is a liar. Fear would have me feel frantic and hopeless about things that might not even be true. Fear wants me to forget that you, Almighty God, are in control."

Take to heart what God said in Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

    God Bless You!
