Hello everyone , I'm in need of some help please . I'm quite freaked out . I am a very grounded person , feet firmly on the floor , not given to flights of fancy , don't believe in any kind of ghost , a very practical logical person . So , about fifteen years ago , at a record fayre ,I bumped into someone called Colin , who I was brought up with as a child , we lived in the same street . His family were very poor and there were always horrible rumours about his mom and dad . We weren't friends with his family . At the record fayre I said hi , he was painfully shy and uncomfortable so I didn't say anything else . So since that day fifteen years ago I've seen him a lot in my town centre where I live . I always smile and say hi but that's it for about twice a week for fifteen years . At the end of June my Aunty told me that he had died quite suddenly at the end of May , I thought that was odd because i was sure I'd seen him a couple of times in June but admitted that I must have made a mistake . There was a death notice for him in our local paper and on internet , I left a message of condolence . I've just seen him , as plain as day , two feet from me , outside , smiling at me and saying hi to me . He looked slightly different , he had a lot of white streaks in his dark hair and he was wearing different clothes , he always wore the same outfit for the last fifteen years , pale blue t shirt and dark trousers , today he had jeans and a white t shirt on . He was as solid as you or I am . He gave me a big smile , even his eyes smiled , and he said hi . I just thought to myself 'oh , he can't be dead ' and smiled back . I've just texted everyone I know who knew him and they all say that he's dead . I'm not crazy , just freaked out . Please help !

Hi Suze, interesting experience. First I would pray and cast away any fears. If you are following Jesus and not seeking other things you have nothing to be afraid of regarding the spirit world. Have you considered just approaching him and confirming if his name is Colin who you met 15 years ago? I wouldn't jump to any conclusions without doing some due diligence like that. People mistake others all the time even when they are 100% confident they "know" who they are. Has anyone mistakenly believed you were someone else? I think everyone has had that happen and even if you try to explain the truth they don't necessarily accept it.

Hi Adam , yes , I'm definately going to do that , if I ever see him again he's not going to get away from me without me asking him a couple of questions , Colin is very distinctive looking , tall painfully thin , dark hair , sharp facial features and a slightly high voice and slightly prominent teeth . I won't let him get away so easily next time smiley face . Thanks for your reply .

The scripture tells that WE (after the death of the flesh and blood body) will BECOME like the ANGELS.

Psalms 103:20 Bless the Lord ye his angels ....

Psalms 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirit; his ministers (his priests) a flaming fire.

John 3:6 ....that which is born (again) of Spirit is spirit.

Psalms 148:2 Praise him all ye ANGELS .....

Luke 20:36 Neither can they (those resurrected with Christ) died anymore, for THEY (those chosen to be part of the first resurrection) are EQUAL unto THE ANGELS; and are the children of God, being the CHILDREN OF THE RESURRECTION.

Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers (or possibly someone you have known); for there by SOME (possibly you) have entertained ANGELS UNAWARE.

In the Old Testament Angels; appearing as men, appeared to several.

Christ (the first man) also appearing as the Angel of the Lord.

I would not get freaked out about: THE WORKS of THE LORD.

Thanks so much for your reply , ive come to terms with what I saw and your post does make sense to me , especially when we consider Rev Ch 22 V 8-16 and Rev Ch 19 V 10 . Thanks again , much love in Christ .

Wow, Suze, I don't know what to say about this matter.

Since you did not try to contact him, be assured that this incident did not come from your choice to seek it.

But, I don't know what to say about whether it was really him, though dead, or a spirit representing him, good or bad. I just don't know. I have heard from some I know who have lost a loved one that this dead person visits them. I just don't know what to say.

As you said, you are very grounded and logical. So, this is quite a shocker for you. I will pray for you.

It was defo a big shock smiley face , I'm calm now , if I ever see him again I shall try to have a conversation with him and see what happens , I promise I will let you know what happens , much love in Christ .
