Suze In the gospels the adversarys kingdom was made known by JESUS CHRIST, in the old testament many times anything done

in the category of the spiritual they believed the true God was the cause of all. Yet clearly we read in the beginning of Job that

satan caused all his calamity because of Job 3:25 his greatest fear hit him. Now I was taught that God was tempting and trying

Job but can't be because of James 1:13 GOD cannot be tempted neither temp he any man. Job never blamed God for his error.

Also remember in Exodus 20:4 Thou shall not make any graven image or likeness that included what was written so even when

it was the enemy working they put down Lord or god with small g. But remember in the gospels the theif or the adversary

cometh not but to steal kill and destroy, thats his operation not the true GODS.

Job was right with God. He was very conscious to give honor and praise. Satan saw this and wanted to prove he could trip up Job. But God knew what kind of faith Job had.

Satan had studied Job making sacrifices for his kids to be sure everything was covered. (The children liked to have parties). So Satan thought that would cripple Jobs faith! He attacked the kids, the houses, animals.

IT WAS SATAN in the wind storm (like a tornado), that wiped out everything Job had and loved. It Wasn't God that did it. He doesn't cause the tragedies that happen in our lives. Satan even sent "concerned friends to drop by and try to tear apart Jobs faith. Terrible things happen. Loss, heartbreak. SATAN is the one that ACCUSES US that our faith is belly up Done. He is the accuser of the brethren. That reality should cause us to do what Job did. In his pain, he sat and waited on God; believed God loved him; God didn't cause this. Dead or alive, he was going to believe in his Lord. Because God is Love. God is good. That's what we all must remember.

This one book tells us what God is like. No matter our losses, fears, and doubts about the future; God will get us through it.

In the New Testament, Jesus teaches that THROUGH HIM AND HIS AUTHORITY over everything: He (deputized) Authorized Believers, to use His Authority just as He used it. He cast out Satan and every demon..causing harm, loss, sickness, to show His disciples how to carry it forward after his departure back to heaven.

We are His Disciples! Every blood bought Christian has been AUTHORIZED to use the NAME OF JESUS. IN JESUS NAME Command cancer to COME OUT, bow it's knee and GO..INTO OUTER DARKNESS! DO NOT RETURN.

DO NOT LISTEN to the lying demons that will say God failed you. Like Job, wait upon God and PRAISE HIM NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

    Fight, rest, repeat.

I absolutely understand where you are coming from and respect your opinion 100 per cent , I always enjoy your posts . If we are going to disregard large parts of the old testament , such as Job Ch 1 V 21 , and many others where unpleasant things that happened are attributed to God and His judgements and punishments , then we will have to disregard them (God's judgements and punishments ) in the present and in the future , e.g. the wages of sin is death , the fact that God is in control of His earth and may use natural disasters to punish humans , He may stir up nations to go to war with each other to fulfill His purposes and what about the judgements to come ? Those outlined in Revelation and described as His judgements and punishments ? Do you see what I'm trying to say ? Exodus Ch 32 V 14 , Isaiah Ch 13 V 11-18 , I could go on and on .

Satan did this and God allowed it in this circumstance. It tested his faith. All of us have our faith tested, but fortunately not usually to this extreme. If we have never had our faith tested then we should be prepared because that time will come.

Child of God Hello the answer to the first part is Satan whi is the author of all evil, Job1:8-12 states that satan presented himself

to God and do what you will but spare HIS LIFE. Now in Job 3: 25 we read where job says that which he was afraid of has come

upon Him, God did not do any of Jobs sorrows in fact in the end God gave him back double of everything. Now the thing that Job

feared so great in Job 1:5 we read where job daily offered up prayers for his family because he believed they were sinning all

the time that is great fear. Job continually did this which opened the door, he believed that because of what his family was

doing that God was going to punish them. Its interesting how many times in scripture the first words of messengers from the

true God is fear not, even in the gospel many times Jesus Christ said fear not. When were born again in 2 Timothy 1:7 it

says that God has not given us the spirit of fear but power love and a sound mind. GOOD STUFF!
