    My great niece and nephew ages 3, and 5 are in a foster home. Their Mother and Father gave up their parental rights and don't have contact with the children. My partner and I are 55 plus years old and have taken in the kids for almost 6 months. My sister and her husband stepped in taking the kids in full time but after a couple of months decided to surrender the children back to child protective services. My partner and I were asked by CPS if we can take them back. We were so puzzled, and it was unexpected to have the kid's caseworker stop by our home and ask. My partner, Bill, and I do not want to raise children at our age. However, we are willing to help out by temporarily taking the kids into our home. I am asking for prayers for the brother and sister to become adopted and have a forever home. I ask in Jesus' name.

    Hi Jacqueline,

    Galatians 6:9 states never to give up: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap a harvest, if we do not give up." Despite your age and the challenges you may face taking care of these little ones, God promises to give you a harvest for doing good. I understand these two children are not your biological children but God wants to entrust them to you. Pray for strength and God's intervention in this situation. Please don't forgo this blessing. God bless you.
