    Most agree that the Apostle Paul had poor eye sight caused by the bright light at his conversion on the road to Damascus; which would hamper him when writing, hence he had others (stenographers) to write for him with one exception which was his letter to the Galations which he writes that he wrote to them in large letters. Many believe his "thorn in the flesh" was his poor eyesight.

    I agree Frank, that it is generally believed that Paul's thorn in the flesh was his weak eyes; though unsure whether this occurred because of his Damascus Rd experience. Yet, it would be difficult to confidently hold to the view that his eyes were the problem, since he doesn't equate it with his thorn - but a high probability, I would think.
