I tried that and also using baking soda. That did not work very well. I have used Benadryl cream and Hydrocortisone cream. These give a bit of relief, but it will just take some time for the itching to subside. the initial pain is now gone, though, so that is good.
The medications i was prescribed are causing the swelling to go down and the redness to shrink, so I am on the mend.
It's happened to me too. I put a bowl out for the bunny rabbits to get water at night. I saw in the daytime the big wasps get water too. I moved the bowl.
Sometimes it's actual spiritual warfare. We have to run to Ephesians 6. Speak protection when you go out your door. Satan is an opportunist of the worst sort.
Thanks so much for letting everyone know that you are improving after your visit to the doctors office. That must have been quite a scare to find out how allergic you truly were to that wasp sting. Praise God you are getting better quickly.
Thanks for caring. I usually swell up with mosquito bites, but have never been stung by a wasp before and it seems that they inject enough venom to cause prolonged pain and also can inject bacteria. So, to prevent further cellulitis, the antibiotics should combat any infection. I carry an epi-pen, so I have that if I ever have a severe reaction. I was not afraid, just uncomfortable. I actually had to pull the wasp our of my calf it had stuck in so far. But, I am a cautious and pro-active person, so went to the doctor the next day. I feel that I am on the road to mending. I'm icing it now to reduce itching. But there are worse things to suffer from, so I pray for those who are in very painful situations through my own small trial.
I really wanted to post more but I'm so sick I am unable to. I want y'all to know that I am praying In the background and desire your prayers as well. Thank you all and God bless and keep you all in His loving care and perfect will.
Good and faithful servant I'm sorry I didn't know you were/are sick . I've been mia for awhile but I will be praying that God deliver and heal you from the crown of your head to the soul of your feet . God said you are healed by his stripes in Jesus name I pray Amen.
Began taking the antibiotic, steroid, and antihistamine, so I should see improvement soon. Thanks to all who prayed for me.
Keep it on for 1/2 hour if it doesn't hurt.

The verse that's been on my heart is
And the Word became flesh
