Dear Diane, the verses you mentioned are from the Book Of Ecclesiasticus, a book which is included in the so called Apocrypha selection of books of the Old Testament. This is a different book from the Book of Ecclesiastes which is included in the canon of the Old Testasmet. The names are similar but they are different books.
