    I'm reading the gospel of John at the moment , Ch 14 , it is packed full of important information and is worthy of some serious and patient study I think . I've read it four times today and each time I read it another piece falls into place . Going to go and read it again now .

    Yes it's amazing , I can't think of another chapter that is so packed with information . It deserves a 2nd, 3rd , 4th , 5th , 100th look .

    I like that 8 th verse where Philip asked Jesus show us the Father and it will sufffice us....Jesus replied how sayest thou show us the Father...Have i been so long a time with you Philip and you have not known me...Thank you Jesus

    How cd anybody say that Jesus was not God is beyond me...

    Amen, "Grae":

    An analogy:

    Medical students study thousands of hours to become a physician.

    God's people think a few minutes a day in God's word will heal them, you have to spend thousands of hours in God's word to become a physician.

    Luke 4:23 ...ye shall surly say into me this PROVERB, Physician, heal thyself ....

    Philippians 2:12 ....work out (though constant study and the abiding of the Holy Ghost within) you own salvation ....

    We definately need to put the work in . It's all there to strengthen us in time of need . We will all have those tough times in life . This is what the Bible is for , to strengthen and comfort us . God gives us everything we need in this life .
