    Hello Nats:

I prayed for you and God showed me these short answer to your question. God also reveals to me you are a very special person for recognizing God. You are correct Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Jesus never said He is God. God also gave us in scriptures in the Old Testament that God is the LORD (all uppercase). In the New Testament, the Lord (only "L") is Jesus Christ. Since God sent God's "only begotten Son" (5X mentioned in the NT) you will find that Jesus Christ said in John 10:30 "I and my Father are one.". Another very STRONG Bible verses that showed evidences Jesus Christ is God are the following )along with the entire NT and our fellowbelievers whom I believe are considered saints:Giannis and Vince who responded to your comment):

    Acts 2:34-36

    Luke 20:42-44

    Revelation 11:8

    Revelation 11:15

Revelation 15:3-4 The song of the Lamb Who is Jesus Christ. These verses I sing in my head all the time.

    Revelation 17:4

My friend, I will be happy as much as God will and the entire Body of Christ to hear that you believe Jesus Christ is God. Agape.

You see God through Christ Jesus because Christ say, I'm in my Father and the Father is in me. So if you read Christ's teachings In the Bible you also here the the Father too. He was sent to do His Father's will.

In the Bible there are verses that reveal the human nature of Jesus like the ones you mentioned in your post. There are also verses that reveal Jesus' divine nature. They are both true because Jesus is both God and Man simultaneously. One being, two natures. There has been a lot of discussion about that recently, you can go through those going back the posts or using the option "discussions by topic > most active discussions within 48 hours'

Thank you for answer but doesn't really help . Two opposite things can't both be true . Those verses I said are Jesus own words . I must believe what he says but thank you for trying .

    Dear Nats:

Even if I say Giannis has explained it very well, if you not "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:20-1. I can only perceived by reading "Nats if Jesus is God" you are still searching if Jesus Christ is God. I would be happy to show you how to be saved and obtain the Holy Spirit. Only then the verses you have inquired about will make sense to you because the Holy Spirit will guide you to the truth.

In John 10:36 Jesus Christ himself said He is the Son of God. If you read the entire conversation between the unbelieving Jews and Jesus Christ they will not believe no matter how anybody explained it to them. It is already prophesied in Isaiah 6:9-10, Isaiah 42:20; Jeremiah 5:21; Acts 28:27; Roman's 11.8

In John 14:28 the situation was that Jesus was about to fulfill another prophesy and that was to die on the cross for the sins of the world 1 John 2:2. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Colossians 2:2-3. When Jesus was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures, Jesus fulfilled what God the Father sent Jesus to do on earth. The mystery is that God the Father is greater than Jesus the Son of God. Remember Jesus came to Virgin Mary from God the Father. Then Jesus has to go unto the Father after Jesus rose the third day so the Comforter (i.e. Holy Spirit) will be fulfilled. John 14:16; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7. There is only one God. Romans 3:30; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 4:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; James 2:19. Hope this helps and that you be saved soon. Good question.

Hello and thank you . I understand everything you say . No problem sometimes people say that Jesus is God this I don't understand . Jesus never ever say that . He say son of God . Why do people twist his words this can't be good to do .

You are welcome. Please allow me to make myself be clear. Please read the entire chapter of John 1. John1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. When you see capital letter "W" Word in the Bible it means Jesus Christ. John 1:14. The lower case "w" word means the Bible. You cannot come to God the Father but by Jesus Christ John 14:6-7; For through him (Jesus Christ) we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18; it is a mystery Colossians 2:2-3; God gave to Jesus everything we need to know Revelation 1:1. In conclusion, There is one God the Father, one God the Son the Lord Jesus Christ, and one God The Holy Spirit. Three persons if you will, manifested from ONE GOD. Thank you so much for your question, I know how hard it is to many people understanding this concept, for I now have to be careful explaining it to you as well. Very happy for the opportunity. Glory to God.

More verses to prove Jesus is God. I will pray that you will be guided by the Holy Spirit in your journey to God. Agape.

    1 Corinthians 1:10

    Romans 16:25

    1 Corinthians 1:9

    2 Corinthians 8:6

    2 Corinthians 1:19

    2 Corinthians 4:6

    2 Corinthians 5:18

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    Ephesians 1:17

OK, dear Nats, let me give a verse that Jesus said to Jews:

    John 2:18-21

"18Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

19Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

20Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21But he spake of the temple of his body"

According to the above, who ressurected (raised up) Jesus? In His own words, He Himself. How can that be true if Jesus was onlly Human BUT not God?

When reading the Bible one has to understand that the aim of the writter is to show that Jesus was an ordinary man as well as God, so there are verses for both. Jesus had to be Human so that He had the right to represent humanity on the cross. He also had to be God, otherwise He couldn't be sinless and death would have kept Him from raising up from the dead, and His sacrifice in that case would have been pointless.

Anyway there were discussions on these the last 4-5 days and you can go through them. Sorry but I can't post all the verses mentioned.

Yes Jesus say that he also say he had been given this power . He say many times God gives him power to lay down his life and take it up again he say power to do the works and words come from God . God give him power it's not Jesus himself it's God who gave him the power . He say this many times . I must believe what Jesus says .

    Dear Nats

    A few verses for Jesus...

    1 Tim 3:16

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory".

    Hebr 1:3

"Who (Jesus) being the brightness of his glory, and the (visible) express image of his (invisible) person, and upholding all things by the word of his (not Father God's) power, ...".

    Hebr 1:8

"But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom".

    Hebr 1:10

"And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:".

Phil 2:5-6 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:".

John 14:9 "Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; ...?" How come this? Because they are the same. Persons of the same triune God.

Math 11:10 ""For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee".

Now compare the above with Malachi 3:1 "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple,...".

The "before me" in Malachi becomes "before you" in Matthew. Why? Because it is about the same person, God.

Matth 5:21-22, 27-28, 31-32, 33-34 etc are of the form "Ye have heard that it was said by them (by God) of old time,...But I say unto you," Who can change God's commandments but God Himself? Moses never said "I say...".

There are so many verses in the NT that show Jesus' Divine nature. Just read the NT and mark them. You'll be surprised.

Question. A child of an animal is animal too, a son of man is a man (human) too. A son of God is... what?
