Hebrews Ch 2 V 7 Thou (God) madest him (Jesus) a little lower than the angels ; thou (God) crownedst him (Jesus) with glory and honour , and didst set him (Jesus) over the works of thy (God) hands : V 8 Thou (God) hast put all things in subjection under his (Jesus) feet . For in that he (God) put all in subjection under him (Jesus) , he (God) left nothing that is not put under him (Jesus) . But now we see not yet all things put under him (Jesus) . But we see Jesus , WHO WAS MADE a little lower than the angels (see v 6+7) for the suffering of death , crowned with glory and honour ; that he (Jesus) by the grace of God should taste death for every man . V 10 For it became him (God) , for whom are all things , and by whom are all things , in bringing many sons to glory , to make the captain of their salvation (Jesus) perfect through sufferings . V 14 Forasmuch then as the children (us) are partakers of flesh and blood , he himself (Jesus) likewise took part of the same , and finally V 18 . Hebrews Ch 2 V 5-18 . Speaks for itself I think .

Hiya Grae GBU but i disagree with verse 14 ..Forasmuch then as the children ( us ) are partakers of flesh and blood....He himself took part of the same....Grae i see that a lil different....We are not the Children of God ,its the Children of Promise that are counted for that good seed... Romans 9 :8 kjv....Which is the H.G. the only Child of Promise....Thats y he is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit....Which is the H.G. That Israel of God....I know that Paul says we like Issac are Children of PROMISE....But he was only saying that b/c he had the H.G. the Child of PROMISE and Paul was a joint heir with the H.G.

......The many sons he wants to bring into Glory are the Children of Promise The H.G. The Children of PROMISE....That was the Original Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven....And this multiplcation is by his seed the words of the NEW COVENANT...The book that he wrote with his own blood...Yes we partake of flesh and blood but we are not the Children of PROMISE....Its only the H.G. THAT IS THE CHILDREN OF PROMISE...OK GBU

Thanks Grae, Very simple scripture to describe what Jesus was like here on earth. Just like we he needed the grace of God to do the will of the Father. The following verses also support your scripture. Hebrews 5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
