    2 Timothy 1:9

Astronomy is a hobby of mine. Today, Astronomers, Astrophysicists, and Cosmologists estimate that the age of the Universe to be approximately 14 billion years old. If that is a true estimate of how old the cosmos is then the Grace that was given to us as Paul writes"... in Christ Jesus before the world began. " is mind boggling to say the least. Almighty God knew each one of us before the creation of the Universe and granted his Grace to us in Christ's redeeming sacrifice before time began, before the creation of the world. That is the God that we worship!

    Hey Brian,

It is mind boggling that before this world was, every one of us was in the plan of LORD God. That God knew the world that is today before it even began. Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That we would be called and saved by His grace for His purpose.

I know the speed of light and the distance of the stars is calculated for the time it takes the light to travel to earth gives the age. But what if on day four when God, with His hand, spread the universe out around the earth the light was visible on earth that day.

Genesis 1:15 they gave their light upon earth that day, it was so; could you then calculate the age?

    Just a thought.

    God bless,

    RLW
