The Transfiguration on the 7 th day was Christ presenting the Church ( his Raiment ) without spot of wrinkle to God.. Matthew 17: 1-13...I was naked and you clothe me....We are his Raiment.....He was presenting to God a Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle... when they saw him on the mount....Tho your sins be as scarlet that shall be white as Snow....They saw his Raiment white as Snow....We are his Raiment....Abide in me and i in you....There is no fuller on earth that can whiten us like his blood....His raiment was white as Snow thats us sinners...His face shown as the Sun....The sun shines on every body....He makes his Sun to shine on the good and the bad...If i be lifted up I will draw all men unto me....Nobody can escape the light of the world....The sun/Son Christ Jesus THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
......When he was on the Cross shedding his blood for humanity....He was PRESENTING up to God a Glorious Church without spot or wrinkle US SINNERS ...The New Covenant IN HIS BLOOD....Tell the vision to no man till the son of man is risen again...( when the book is opened )
Most people misinterpret 1 Corinthians 15 whereby leads them to just that,,, misinterpreting scripture, false teaching,,,and if they misinterpret this they are highly likely to peat, and repeat.
The correct interpretation of 1 Corinthians 15:20 is, Jesus Christ has been raised from dead persons, .. the dead...
The firstfruit, is the beginning of a sacrifice, [the first fruit, the beginning] for those who have fallen asleep, those who died already.
The beginning of the price paid for Salvation for all who have died past, present, and future.
Where do you think Jesus went when He died? He went to Tartarus, prison to teach the Gospel to those who had not known Him, and proclaimed his victory whereby some were saved.
Jesus became the firstfruit for all who slept(died and gone to Heaven or prison) no matter who was there or not.
Royce.... Zech 4 :2....What seest thou and i said i see a candle stick of Gold,..And his 7 lamps and 7 pipes to the 7 lamps.
...... Rev. 1 :13....And in the midst of the 7 candle sticks I saw 1 like the SON OF MAN , clothed with a garment down to the feet and girt down to the paps with a Golden girdle.
.....Thats y i believe that the 7 candlesticks of Rev 11 and Zech 4....My 2 witnesses are Christ and the H.G....The Son of Man and the H.G.
John 15 :26...But when he the spirit of truth is come the H.G. ( the comforter ) he shall bear WITNESS of me....Thus we see the 2 witnesses are Christ and the HG.....The 2 Olive Trees that contain the holy Oil....Gods Spirit...The Kingdom
There are somethings that have not been revealed to us like the two witnesses. Scripture does tell us these two will be killed by the beast that will ascend from the bottomless pit so, if they have died in the past they could not be killed, this flesh only dies once, Heb. 9:27. Some look at the transfiguration with Moses and Elijah but this was before Jesus was crucified and His resurrection.
Jesus is the Firstfruits of those who slept, 1Cor.15:20, and the firstborn from the dead, Cor. 1:18, and no man has ascended to heaven, John 3:13. In Matthew 17:9 Jesus told them to not tell this vision to anyone, the transfiguration was a vision, Moses and Elijah were not there. If they were there Jesus would not be the Firstfruits of them that slept. They were given a glimpse of the kingdom of God, Mark 9:1
Could God transport Enoch or anyone else into the future? I'm sure He has that kind of power. There are thoughts of John may be one, John 21:22 and Revelation 10:11. I guess the only way to know is if we are still living when they show up and they say their names. My understanding, we can confuse other scripture like the vision of the transfiguration trying to answer a question we cannot be sure of the truth of the answer.
Royce we got to keep in mind what Jesus said I am 1 that bears witness of myself and my Father that sent me bears witness of me And in Rev 11 he is saying not by might nor power but by my Spirit....So these 2 anointed ones are really Jesus and the H.G.....The 2 Olive Trees in Rev 11 and ZECH 4 IMPLY an Anointing oil....Christ and the H.G...The Anointed ones....It was only Jesus and the H.G that emptied the Holy Oil the anointed on folks....The 2 anointed ones answer to the 2 pipes that empty the anointing Oil on ppl....Then he said unto me these are the 2 anointed ones standing by the God of the earth... Zech 4 :14
And in Rev 11:4 ..These are the 2 Olive trees standing by the GOD OF THIS EARTH....And in Zech 4 :12 he says these are the 2 Olive trees that empty the Golden Oil outta of them selves...The Anointed ones is simply the H.G. and Jesus....Ye need no man teach you the Anointing you have received of him will teach you all things...ok lemme go ...Remember the 2 Anointed ones of Rev. 11 and ZECH. 4
Hiya Royce....If ya read Zech. 4 :6 you will see the 2 witnesses being the Spirits of Jesus and the H.G...Not by might nor by power but by my Spirit saith the Lord....The 2 candlesticks of Rev. 11 answer to the 2 Olive Trees of Zech. 4 ...The 2 Olive branches in Zech 4 answer to the 2 Olive trees in Rev 11....I will give power to my 2 witnesses which are the 2 Olive trees standing b/f the God of the earth...And Zech 4 :12....And i answered and said unto the angel what are these 2 Olive trees v 13 then he said knowest not what these 2 Olive trees be and i answered no my lord....Then in v 14 he Says these are the 2 ANOINTED ONES THAT STAND BEFORE THE GOD of this earth
Royce if ya read ZECH. 4.....You will get a better picture of Rev 11....
Yeah, that's right, Elisha was the successor of Elijah, easy to mistype when multitasking, thank you, I'll be more careful, and look closer at ,,,
Revelation 11:3 And I will give power to My two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days[3 years and a half], clothed in sackcloth."
4 These represent the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks which stand before the Lord of the earth.
How can they stand before the Lord?, it's because they didn't die, they were transfigured, God just took them.
Now, how many have stood on earth, and stands before the Lord? Enoch we know,,, but God wouldn't let anyone bury Moses; the Devil hunts for his bones but could never find them.
Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There are some of those standing here, which shall by no means taste of death, till they may have seen the Son of man coming in His kingdom."
THE GLORY FORESHOWN, THE TRANSFIGURATION
Matthew 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Him aside Peter, and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured [changed in form] before them:and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment became white as the light.
3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking together with Him.
Since Moses, and EliJAH were seen transfigured on the mount with Jesus, and we know of only the three that were transfigured, Enoch, Moses, and Elijah, it's more than likely the two witnesses are they.
Never base anything scriptural on popular belief/theory, the two witnesses still have much to do! they play a key role in the end times. Their work is not done, their testimony is yet to come, Revelation 11:7-13
These two witnesses are mentioned in Revelation Chapter 11. The Bible does not give us their names so all we can do is guess. The response Luke gives is Moses and Elisha. If I had to take a guess, I would also say Moses, but not Elisha.
The most popular theory is that these two are Moses and Elijah, which is a view I also share. Many believe that what these two witnesses do, Moses and Elijah? has already been done. Elijah called fire down from heaven, and Moses changed the water into blood. Through Moses, God brought the plagues, and so many believe that the Law and the Prophets are represented by Elijah and Moses.
