Close your eyes, take a breathe, and ask the Comforter for wisdom and knowledge.

There is much speculation as to who these two individuals are but there is no need to guess. The two witnesses are Elijah from the Old Testament and John, the writer of Revelation, from the New. How do we know this? Because the Bible tells us.

Malachi 4:5 - Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD

Rev 10:11 - And he [an angel] said unto me [John], Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

    2. "Is there somewhere in the Bible that specifically states that John is one of the 7,000? If you cannot cite a Biblical reference, then I suspect your belief is speculative. Conversely, I can cite a reference that John will prophesize in the "Great City". Do we just disregard a factual statement?"

Yes, by John's own mouth in Revelation 1 saying:

    4 JOHN to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne;

5 And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first born of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him That loveth us, and loosed us out from our sins by His own blood,

6 And ... made us to be a Kingdom and to be (priests) to The revealed God and His Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. even the Amen.

That's what the Zedok are "Priest's" Lord's whereby Jesus is Lord of.

    Thank you Father!

No Tony John the Revelator does not see Moses or Elijah within the 7 Golden Candle sticks....In Rev. 1 : 13 John only saw Christ the Son of man within the 7 Golden candle sticks....And in Rev 12 :5 We see the Manchild which is the H.G. that is gonna rule all nations....These 2 witnesses are Spirits....Christ and the H.G....Wayback in Zech 4 the 2 witnesses were his spirits....Not by might or Power but by my Spirits saith the lord....And do not dispise the day of small things....Which is the seed of the sower the woman giving birth to the H.G as Jesus said Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child which is the manchild you will in no wise enter there in....And in Rev. 11 and Zech 4 The 2 witnesses are among the 7 Golden candle sticks...Not Elijah or Moses ....

.....And in Rev 12....We see a clear picture of the manchild that is gonna rule all nations with a rod of iron that 2 nd witness....They were both dead for 2 k yrs....Which was the abomination of desolation when Jesus said the night comes when no man can work....I'm he that was dead but behold i am alive for ever more.

....In Zech 4 :14 ....These are the 2 anointed ones that stand before the God of the earth....Christ and the H.G....That John saw among the 7 Golden candle sticks. Jesus said when he the spirit of truth is come the will reprove the world.

......And in Rev 19 he rides a white horse and outta of his mouth goes a sharp sword that he will smite the nations ....And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.....We are his vesture dipped in blood....I was naked and you clothe me....

......We have to keep in mind what Jesus said I am 1 that bears witness of my self and my Father that sent me bears witness of me....In Rev 11 God does not tell us who the 2 witnesses are he only says Not by might nor power but by my spirit....But i believe the 2 witness are Christ and the H.G.....As John plainly tells us he saw the Son of Man within the 7 Golden candlesticks..Not Moses or Elijah...ok

There's A candlestick in Heaven which symbolizes the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect).

John is one of the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect)who lived and (DIED) throughout the centuries who will be returning with Christ at the 7th trumpet,,, And they say to me, "Thou must prophesy again concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

John will be returning with Christ, not as one of the two witnesses.

Just as the book was bitter to John's belly, it was so to Ezekiel's belly who is also one of the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect) returning with Christ.

John's flesh cannot DIE twice, or be killed twice, and there's no mention of John being transfigured.

John will be returning with Christ to "prophesy again concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

I thank you for your comment. You seem very learned and holy. If you would be so kind as to direct me to the where in Ezekiel it mentions the bitterness in his belly as the bitterness in John's belly, I would me most appreciative.

I humbly disagree but I'm not above correction and reproof. I'd like to offer rebuttal on these points:

    1. Rev 10:11, John is told in no uncertain terms that he will be returning to prophesize ... before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

This is almost the exact same language as Rev 17:15 ... The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Coincidence? Nothing in the Bible happens by coincidence.

    2. Is there somewhere in the Bible that specifically states that John is one of the 7,000? If you cannot cite a Biblical reference, then I suspect your belief is speculative. Conversely, I can cite a reference that John will prophesize in the "Great City". Do we just disregard a factual statement?

    3. While I agree with you that we can only physically die once, in truth, we do not know how John died.

    4. The angel tells John that he must prophesize again. What do you think the angel meant when he said "again"? To me, this means that John was mortal when he wrote Revelation, and he'll be mortal again when he prophesizes the second time. Then, both John and Elijah will physically die.

    5. Our disagreement lies not with whether he will return but when. I offer to you that the greatest prophet next to Jesus, our Savior, the person who wrote Revelation, will return to see it through. If you think about it, it kinda makes sense.

I eagerly await your response as I value knowledge and wisdom. Equally important is that I hope you do not take offense at what I've written. It wasn't meant that way. Thank you for your understanding Luke. God Bless.

Okay, no problem,,, I have to go to work but I can start with this.

Ezekiel 3:1 Moreover He said unto me, Son of Adam, eat that thou findest; eat this scroll, and go speak unto the house of Israel

3:3 And He said unto me, Son of Adam, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

Revelation 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven I heard speaking with me again, saying, "Go and take the Book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."

9 And I went unto the angel, ... saying to him, "Give me the Book." And he saith to me, "Take it, and eat it up [receivethe knowledge]; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

It was the knowledge of the book that caused them bitter.

The belly reference is a figure of speech, the word is koilia and the Usage: is belly, abdomen, heart, a general term covering any organ in the abdomen, e.g. stomach, womb; met: the inner man.

The Great City (Babylon) is symbolic for confusion whereby peoples, nations, and tongues are the wave of, and it's where God's Election Prophecy, whether during the Great tribulation, or during the Millennium.

I agree, we do not know how John died, Selah!

    Brother Luke:

Have you also come to the TRUTH that you WILL BE, also, one of the priest of Zadok.

At the seventh trumpet; the death of your flesh and blood body, you will become the image of Christ: and will go as a ministering spirit to prophesy to the deceived; as do all other saints.

Psalms 149:9 To execute upon them (the deceived) the judgement written (that all come to the truth and knowledge of God): this honour hath all his saints.

Hebrews 3:1 Wherefore, HOLY BRETHREN, partakers of the heavenly (divine) calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of OUR PROFESSION, Christ Jesus.

God Bless YOU, his (Christ's) BODY.

The Zedok are written of in Acts 2

Psalms 149:9 To execute upon them (the deceived) the judgement written (that all come to the truth and knowledge of God): this honour hath all his saints.

    Hebrews 3:1

Wherefore, HOLY BRETHREN, partakers of the heavenly (divine) calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of OUR PROFESSION, Christ Jesus."

God Bless YOU, his (Christ's) BODY.
